Let’s meet ASHLEE VOWELL (Yoga)

Growing up in Kitsap County, she moved here in 1990 and fell in love with the majestic landscape of Washington State. With her love of nature, sustainable living, and everything green, she spends most of her time outdoors basking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with her life partner and two beautiful boys.

As a child, she struggled with weight issues, poor nutrition, addiction, and feelings of never measuring up until one day she decided enough was enough. After losing over 130 pounds, she felt inspired to share her journey with others and to encourage people to never give up on their goals.

With a strong at home practice, she wanted to dive into the yoga community and gain inspiration from fellow yogis. She came to Studio 36OM in the winter of 2024 and immediately felt at home. The studio has helped her flourish as an impactful and authentic teacher, grow as a student, and elevate her personal practice to the next level.

Her goal for each class is to help others unveil their authentic selves, express themselves through asana, and leave feeling uplifted and empowered to move with purpose.

Lisa fell in love with yoga in early 2007 during college in Northern California. After graduating from UCB with a BA in Psychology, she spent over 10 years in K-12 education as a counselor. In 2011, she became a Transcendental Meditation practitioner through the David Lynch Foundation’s Quiet Time program, serving underserved youth in Bay Area schools. Her work brought her to Nashville, Tennessee, where her practice deepened at Shakti Power Yoga. Filled with a calling to share yoga’s benefits, she completed her 230-hour Teacher Training at the Asheville Yoga Center in 2016 and later earned her MA in I-O Psychology from GGU.
Her psychology background allows her to create supportive learning environments and understand the mind-body connection in postures and sequencing. Lisa also has experience working alongside an applied kinesiology chiropractic doctor, offering one-on-one yoga sessions to help patients achieve healthy posture and alignment through targeted practices. Lisa’s teaching style embraces Baron Baptiste’s fluid, dynamic Vinyasa flow, blending the spiritual with physically empowering movements to help students from all walks of life discover their own expansive connection to practice.

Halloween Glow Flow with Laura on October 31st at 5pm in the studio!!

Our Cannabis and Yoga special event is back, and spookier than ever. With a haunting playlist, live lighting DJ for special effects, and a flow designed to rattle your bones, Halloween isn’t just for kids this year! An earlier time slot ensures there’s still plenty of evening hours to celebrate the holiday after. Have fun with your attire, knowing that even Zombies will work up a sweat in the gently heated studio. Parents may opt to send their ghouls and boys with a trusted adult to trick-or-treat at the mall nearby, and then join you afterward to socialize with yogis in disguise!

Sacred Breath Workshop Sunday, October 12 5-7pm with with HANNAH HIGGINS & MICHELLE TOWNSEND $55

Our breath is our main life source and yet so many of us are breathing unconsciously and not accessing its full potential.In this intro to breath awareness workshop we will learn about different breath patterns and how to breathe to promote health, deep healing and personal growth.Though conscious connected breathing, you can gain access to release emotional blockages, suppressed emotions, process store stress, and reconnect to your inner self.By holding a sacred container and thru gentle facilitation, we hope to provide a safe and supportive space that encourages clarity, self-awareness, and a profound sense of freedom and renewal.
We hope to charge $55 for this workshop (open to discussion about pricing) and hope to include some informational material as well as the session. The hope is in the future to be able to dive deeper.

Lets meet HARMONY LIEBERT – Mat Pilates & Pilates Reformer Instructor

Born and raised in the heart of Sequim, WA, Harmony Liebert brings a lifelong love of
movement and expression to the Studio 36om community. Now a proud resident of Kitsap
County and mother of two amazing sons, Harmony balances her days as a Multi-Media Marketing Consultant for Ward Media, and her evenings and weekends teaching Pilates.
Harmony’s movement journey began in childhood through dance, studying jazz, modern,
ballet, tap, Nia, and Bartinieff Fundamentals. Over time, her path led her into yoga and
ultimately to Pilates, where she found a transformative connection between movement,
strength, and healing.
After enduring multiple car accidents, Harmony faced chronic pain and physical
setbacks—but it was through mindful movement, especially yoga and Pilates, that she
began to rebuild, heal, and reconnect with her body. That healing journey became more than
personal—it became a calling.
Today, Harmony is passionate about sharing the restorative power of movement with others.
Her teaching style is grounded in joy, awareness, and compassion, with a focus on making
Pilates accessible, empowering, and sustainable for every body. Whether you’re recovering,
rebuilding, or simply reconnecting with yourself, Harmony believes there is always
hope—and movement is a beautiful way forward.
When she’s not in the studio or working in media, you’ll find Harmony paddle boarding,
walking outdoors, enjoying salsa & bachata dance or spending quality time with her family and friends.

Set an Intention/Mantra for Your Practice 🕉️

When your yoga teacher invites you to “set an intention” or choose a mantra, what does that really mean?

Every time you step onto your mat, you have the chance to guide your energy. Setting an intention is a simple but powerful way to focus your practice.

It’s not about making a goal or pushing harder in class. An intention is a gentle reminder to yourself—a word, phrase, or feeling you want to carry with you during your practice.

Your intention/mantra doesn’t have to be big. It might be as simple as “patience,” “gratitude,” “breathe deeply,” or “be present.”

Why it matters:
• It keeps you centered when the mind wanders.
• It turns your physical practice into something more meaningful.
• It reminds you that yoga is about more than poses—it’s about how you show up for yourself and others.

Next time you roll out your mat and hear those words, pause. Ask yourself: “What do I need today?” Then let your intention guide you both on your mat and in your daily life.

SEPTEMBER WORKSHOPS 🔔

We are starting our September with Women’s Circle with Danielle Sunday September 7th at 11am.

Please bring paper and a writing utensil or if you have a journal that you love to use you can bring that. If you want to bring a favorite mug to sip some tea, you are welcome to do that as well.
Just show up as yourself. This circle will be sans kids. Babies in wraps are always welcome. Women ages 14 and up are welcome to attend.
You can RSVP on the MINDBODY app (it’s free), circle is a small intimate group.
