We truly have the coolest, biggest‑hearted crew loving on our residents every single day. Their energy, creativity, and compassion bring so much joy into our building—more than they’ll ever know.

The Activities Team plays such a crucial role in the mental, physical, and emotional well‑being of our residents. And our crew? Their passion is absolutely infectious. 💛 They make every day brighter, every moment meaningful, and every resident feel seen, valued, and included.

We couldn’t be luckier to have them as part of the Silverton of Cascadia family. 🫶

💜 Support for Our Friend, Debbie Mellen 💜

Many of you know Debbie Mellen, a beloved past employee who gave so much of herself during her time with us and at our sister facility, Mountain Valley. Today, she’s facing an incredibly tough battle after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

A spaghetti feed fundraiser is being held to help Debbie and her family with her end‑of‑life expenses during this difficult time. This is our chance to give back to someone who spent years caring for others with kindness, compassion, and dedication.

We are truly grateful for her service and the impact she made on residents, families, and staff alike. 💛

Let’s come together and show what our community is capable of when we rally around one of our own. Your support—whether by attending, donating, or sharing—means more than you know.

Together, we can make a meaningful difference for Debbie and her family. 💜🍝✨

🐾 We Had the Best Visitors Last Week! 🐾

We recently had a wonderful visit from the great folks at Camp K‑9 out of Post Falls! They provide boarding and training services for dogs, and they were kind enough to bring a couple of their adorable furry companions up to spend time with us.

It was SO much fun — the dogs brought so much joy, comfort, and laughter to everyone here. We are incredibly grateful for their visit! Moments like these are truly healing for both our residents and our staff.

Thank you again, Camp K-9, for sharing your sweet pups with us. We can’t wait for the next visit! 💛🐶✨

Since July 2025, Taelor has been a vital part of Silverton of Cascadia as 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 & 𝐀𝐋𝐅 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫. Her passion for learning, teaching, and creating a warm, welcoming home inspires us every day.
