Have you ever wondered how to invite the Lord into the "everyday" areas of your life? Your work? Relationships? Those mundane place you never would've expected the Lord to be interested in. ⁣

Andrea Hobart is an adventurer, flight attendant, passionate, creative, lover of Justice and prophetic voice within the body of Christ. She is the co-founder of the Sierra Care Foundation (SCF), an organization based in Makeni, Sierra Leone. For the last 10 years SCF has assisted woman and children who are vulnerable to poverty, human trafficking and lack of housing. ⁣
⁣
Andrea has had a message building inside for creatives over the last few months and shares part of that message here. This is a special episode. We intended to talk a lot about the things Andrea has going on and the important work she does with helping people stop human trafficking. However, the Holy Spirit had other intensions for this episode. .⁣
⁣

Hey friends and family. Geoff and I started this FB page way back in the day when we were joining YWAM Kona. We are no longer in Kona YWAM service (although Geoff still volunteers with Innovision and is supporting their School of Communication as a long-distance instructor).

That said, I thought I would re-launch this page to share Geoff's new podcast, which will have weekly episodes, as well as share here things that God is doing in our lives as a family. It is a smaller group than just my personal FB page.

Although we are no longer "Anchor & Moor" as a ministry, we still believe that Jesus is our place of refuge - whether at sea or docked. We hope you will find the podcast and occasional family news uplifting.

We started Anchor & Moor in 2016. Since that time the founders (Geoff and Britteny) have walked through what feels like a lifetime of just real stuff in a very short amount of time. Stuff that we all deal with somewhere in our journey.

What the past few years have done is to fuel a deep desire to walk with others through their own journey. Share the things which have brought peace and health and life and healing to our own lives. Faith is a core component - but its faith paired with actual action. Action and truth.

We are launching posts about how to build and enjoy an Anchored Lifestyle. Geoff will be offering life coaching and Masterminds (collaborative coaching sessions). We will also keep you up to date on other efforts we are involved with as it feels right to do so through FB.

We hope you will stay plugged in with us. We hope you will find inspiration, freedom or perhaps just some refreshment through our future posts.

Did you know research shows that gratitude is proven to be one of the most reliable methods for BOOSTING HAPPINESS and LIFE SATISFACTION. That’s right, gratitude brings happiness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not just that though, it reduces anxiety and depression, is connected to strengthening the immune system, helps people sleep better, makes us more resilient, strengthens relationships, promotes forgiveness...and on and on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s a challenge for you: Grab a notepad or 3x5 card. As you go throughout your day, write down 5 things which make your life better. Reflect on what you wrote before you go to bed, share them with friends or family, or say a prayer of thankfulness at the end of your day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Up the challenge: Do this for a week. Throughout that time, notice the way this simple practice changes you. If you’re feeling extra inspired, come back to this post and comment on the positive effects this simple practice of gratitude has had on your life!
