Family Medical Group

The Family Medical Group was started in 1978 to provide care for the residents of the Silverton area by Dr Rodney E. He then later expanded his practice to include a Molalla office. Thanks to our supportive patients, we have been able to grow our practice to include an Urgent Care at both offices as well. Family medicine is comprehensive medical care with a particular emphasis on the fam­ily unit.

Because it is our belief that an individual's problems usually affect and are affected by the situation in the family unit, we prefer to care for all members of your family regardless of age, s*x or particular disease. We have all completed the necessary training that allows us to handle a variety of medical problems in diverse areas of expertise includ­ing obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiology and adult medicine, and certain surgical procedures. Each provider is licensed by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners. However, at times it may be necessary to refer you to a specialist for evaluation or treatment. We would like to coordinate this for you. Preventive medicine is another important aspect of our practice. To care for you when illness strikes is a primary concern, but we would much rather help you and your fam­ily maintain good health. Finally, an ongoing relationship with a provider allows a continuity of care which leads to the highest quality of medical diagnosis and treatment.
