SCHRODER MORTUARY Funeral and Cremation Service In 2008 Schroder Mortuary purchased the funeral home in Colona formerly known as Fairman's Mortuary.

Since 1945 Schroder Mortuary has been helping families celebrate the lives of their loved ones while remaining family owned and operated. Our experienced and dedicated staff will help guide you in determining which type of service will best serve your family and celebrate your loved ones life in a in a meaningful way. This mortuary has been open for business since 1958. Schroder Mortuary is dedicated to providing superior service to our community. We offer flexible service options with pricing to meet everyone’s budget. We offer a wide selection of caskets, outer burial containers, urns and urn vaults. Schroder Mortuary can arrange for national and international transfers, prearrangements and traditional funerals as well as cremations, which can be held either in our chapel, at the cemetery, or one's church. Funerals today are not inexpensive. The basic makeup of funeral expenses includes professional services, use of facilities, motor equipment, and merchandise and cash disbursements. While all funeral homes can provide these components in one form or another, the attention to detail, personal service and professionalism of the staff at Schroder Mortuary reinforces our commitment of value in relation to the expenses incurred. As a family-owned funeral home, we understand many families must live within a budget. Our wide choice of services allows the family to select only those elements that are affordable and meaningful to them. Quite often, people are hesitant to discuss funeral costs.
