A True Family Practice
My name is Dr Mitch Wechsler. I graduated UCLA School of Dentistry in 2006. I am super excited to let you all know a little something about our family dental practice, Legacy Dental Group right here in Simi Valley, CA. What truly makes us unique is that I am the 3rd generation of dentist in my family to treat the awesome people in Simi Valley and the surrounding areas. My father, Dr Barry Wechsler, opened the doors to Simi Dental Center in 1978. At that time my Grandfather, Dr Jack Wechsler came in and worked along side my father as well. Now, over 40 years later, I have had the privilege of joining my father to continue a longstanding tradition of caring for our patients in a truly unique way.
Last year we completed a complete top to bottom remodel of both the facility and equipment. We have a smaller family office that is not only cutting edge, but prides itself on treating all of our patients like family. We encourage you to come by and meet us and check out the office to see if it feels like a fit for your dental needs.
Lastly, we are in network for all major PPO plans, as well as Unions such as local 770. Another aspect of our office that makes me truly proud is that we are a local VA satellite office and can treat service connected Veterans within our office! My grandfather was an Army dentist in WWII and it is something that I am very proud of. Being a part of the VA is a small way for us to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for all of us.
