The S**T Weekend Winter Warriors present...S**T! ON! ICE!!! ❄️🌨️

We are reporting to you LIVE from South Carolina Addiction Treatment on Holland Road in Simpsonville, SC, where the onsite S**T team is slip, sliding away down the street while they take a break to play outside.
Just a reminder that we are INDEED a 24/7
facility and that we do not close our doors on holidays, inclement weather, and other major interruptions!

We could not operate without the incredible people on our team who have offered to work and stay onsite or nearby S**T to ensure our clients continue to receive top quality care during this ice storm here in the Carolinas.

HUGE shout-out to our Nursing Team (Leilani, Nicole, and Casey), our BHT Team (Amanda, Ryan, and Dex), and our Kitchen Team (David) for coming together to form what we are now calling our “S**T Weekend Winter Warriors”!

We are bringing client haircuts BACK!!! And this time we are joined by the one & only Brandon Alexander, who so graciously shared his time, skills, and passion for style AND recovery with the S**T Community earlier this week! ✂

Brandon, a local hair cut & color specialist, is local to Greenville and is also in recovery! He'll be back for a highlight video too, so check back for it soon!!

Offering clients in our program the opportunity to refresh their look can add so much to their experience. It can also set our community up for success in their next steps -- whether they're heading to another inpatient or outpatient program, beginning individual counseling sessions, or returning to their lives with new recovery tools and a solid plan to explore their local recovery resources, a haircut and new style can be a game changer.

Huge thanks to Brandon!! Very hopeful that he'll be back for more sessions with our clients in the future -- make sure to check out his page and see more of his work! 💇

The top-secret reveal of the S**T team member on the dryers ✨ S**T Guessing Game ✨ is FINALLY HERE!!!

For everyone who guessed our very own BHT Assistant Supervisor & Projects Coordinator, Amanda, then you were CORRECT!!

Amanda is known for fixing just about anything around S**T and always looking for ways to improve the facility and make the client experience better with each passing day.
..This day just happened to involve our washers & dryers! And for that, we are VERY grateful! 😅

Give Amanda a hand for the effort she put in to getting on top of the dryers!!! (...we're still not fully sure how she did it...and at this point, we're a bit too afraid to even ask...😰)

Orrrrr maybe not…😅 Dex is a good sport, though, always finding ways to bring a smile to his coworkers’ and our community of clients’ faces!

We know how to have a good time making each other laugh, which is a vital part of building connections in recovery!! While you may be coming to us at South Carolina Addiction Treatment to detox, we’ll do our best to make you feel at home while you’re here…

We've been working on expanding our group & programming offerings at S**T!! Meet Kim, who came in and offered sound healing to our community of clients this week! 😌❤️‍🩹

We've found that by offering a multi-modal recovery experience, clients can benefit from learning about as many recovery modalities to find what works best for them!

Our mission here at South Carolina Addiction Treatment is to help individuals overcome the disease of addiction -- and we believe that by diversifying our programming, we can hopefully reach each person that comes to us looking for help!! 💜

Looking forward to seeing what more we can add to our programming! We're all feeling very relaxed after Kim's session...we're already looking forward to having her back!!!

Another S**T Sunday where we find Chip totally in his element… 🎸

S**T Staff jokes that if they hear Chip playing guitar from behind his closed office door, then he must’ve had a stressful day 🤣

BUT if you catch Chip playing out in the Day Room or in the backyard, he’s looking to connect and build community!
