Presenting our Cinco de Mayo lunch, preparing by Antonio & Jamar, who make it their pride & joy to continuously showcase their culinary skills AND expert talent at making both our clients AND our staff incredibly full, content, and sleepy by 2pm… 😴

Featuring (but not limited to) poblano chicken, dark molé sauce, chicken & beef enchiladas, Mexican street corn, Spanish olive rice, beef & cheese quesadillas, and southwest condiments, we are a very full and satisfied crew here at South Carolina Addiction Treatment today!!!

🌟 S**T Alumni Speaker Series Alert!!! 🌟

The one and only Michelle came back to S**T this past month to grace us with her presence — what an honor!! 🤩 Michelle, a S**T Alum, swung by for a visit to participate in our S**T Alumni Speaker Series! 📢 Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to come back to share!!

Part of our Alumni Program at South Carolina Addiction Treatment includes this monthly opportunity for us to reconnect with graduates from our program. 🎓 We call this the S**T Alumni Speaker Series — once a month, we invite an alumnus to catch up with staff, have a meal with us (from the famous S**T Kitchen), share their testimony with our current community of clients, pick up a S**T sobriety chip, and take a S**T sign picture with the S**T team! 📸

We are so grateful to have our alumni return to give back to the next community here and see them continue to inspire and share a message of hope! That’s what recovery is all about!!! 🌟

Look who came to visit us this weekend while he was in town -- our old friend Chris Seemer with his family (wearing his ole reliable Clemson gear, of course)! 💜 🐅

It wasn't that long ago that Chris was part of our S**T Team as a Behavioral Health Technician & Group Facilitator -- he loved leading our community in Celebrate Recovery with his trusty guitar!! 🎸 (Make sure to check out his Employee of the Month video if you haven't seen it yet!)

His wife, Staci, also led art group sessions with our clients, helping to provide a robust group & programming schedule so we can engage and reach as many in our community as we possible can while they are with us at South Carolina Addiction Treatment. 🎨🖌

Sam from S**T teamed up with Mauldin Fire Department, Mauldin Police Department, and RIZE Prevention this morning to help with Mauldin’s DEA Drug Take Back Day!! 💊

Providing this opportunity for the City of Mauldin was a great way to help give back and educate about the benefits of safely disposing prescription medications in the household (and no, that doesn’t mean flushing them down the toilet 🚽)!

South Carolina Addiction Treatment is here to provide support — not only to help people when they need access to treatment, but also to help educate on prevention and safety to all families and households!! So glad we got to partner up with some of our Mauldin friends to participate in Drug Take Back Day! 💜

We’re actually a little behind on sharing these…😅 Our good friend & S**T Alum, Mike, came by S**T last month to participate in our S**T Alumni Speaker Series with all of us!! 🎉

For anyone participating in our S**T Alumni Speaker Series, once a month, one of our alumni comes back to visit us at S**T to have a meal, catches up with staff, shares their testimony during a group with our current community of clients, and takes their picture at the famous S**T sign!!

It's an honor to receive visits from the alumni who have graduated from our program! 🎓

To be a part of our community of clients’ journeys is such an hour — our mission is to help individuals overcome the disease of addiction. When we hear from our alumni through our dedicated alumni program, we celebrate every single personal achievement and victory that our previous grads share with us along the way.
