Today we are working on our self help skills as we learn to make up our own sleep mat. Cali did a great job putting on the sheets and blanket all by herself while her early interventionist provided verbal encouragement. Way to go Cali! Keep up the great work!

We are excited to share that the Bon Secours Wellness Arena has added an additional Skate, Roll, & Stroll event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day | January 19, 2026, from 12-2 PM.

SKATE, ROLL & STROLL DETAILS

*Cost: This is a FREE session for people of all ages with disabilities to skate, walk, sled, or roll in their wheelchair on the ice rink at Bon Secours Wellness Arena as part of the annual Skating On The Big Ice!

*Parking: Guests may park in the VIP Parking Lot, and there will be signage directing guests about where to enter the building. Limited parking is also available in our loading dock parking lot (reference attached map) for guests with mobility challenges.

*Additional Info: The ice is left rough (for ease of walking) after Swamp Rabbits practice that morning, lights are dimmed, and music is on a low volume. We have skates, sleds, shoe spikes, and skating aids available for use, in addition to staff/volunteers assisting guests.

*Skate, Roll, & Stroll is always FREE of charge, and ALL family members are welcome to participate! If you have any questions or need special accommodations for your family, please contact info@bswarena.com.

We can work on our creative skills while drawing our snowman, our cognitive skills while counting the snow balls and stacking them from biggest to smallest, and our fine motor skills while holding our pencil in tripod position as we color.
