wisdom soul speak….listen here ❤️🔥
“Can I hear some positive birth stories about…”
You’ll see this plea rise in the final weeks,
like a flare sent up from the edge of the forest.
VBAC.
Natural birth.
Home birth after trauma.
Birth after loss.
The stories women are hungry for—because they are about to walk into the unknown.
And who can blame them?
What maiden wouldn’t want to gather the light before descending into the cave?
But here’s the truth most birth forums can’t hold:
You are not gathering proof.
You are gathering torches.
And not every torch comes from a “positive story.”
Some come from women who were cracked open.
Some come from mothers who lost their footing,
who faced the dragon,
who met the dark and lived to speak from it.
We don’t need stories that skip to the happy ending.
We need stories that map the underworld.
Birth is not a wish.
It is a rite.
It’s not about staying on the path—it’s about finding your way back to yourself when the path disappears.
So ask not only for the stories that sparkle.
Ask for the ones where women made fire in the dark.
Because that’s the kind of light that will serve you,
when your own story starts to write itself.
