What a memorable Mother’s Day celebration at Skybrooke at Simsbury!
This year, we took our residents on a special “Trip to Greece” by transforming our entire community into a beautiful Greek experience filled with culture, fun, music, food, and laughter. Residents explored a lively Greek market with local-inspired foods and souvenirs while enjoying the beautiful piano music of Richard Wang. Our theater was transformed into the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, and residents enjoyed scenic views of Santorini, delicious Greek tastings, and even learned traditional Greek dances together… Opa!
One of the highlights of the day was our reenactment of the Ancient Olympic Games featuring both associates and residents, bringing history to life with smiles, humor, and teamwork throughout the community.
A heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful mothers we celebrated and honored throughout the day. We are also deeply grateful to our incredible associates and families whose creativity, energy, and dedication made this unforgettable experience possible for our residents.
