The Clinical Command Central Phone Number in CT for Covid19 testing via Hartford Healthcare is 860-972-8100. Only call if you have true medical need. Criteria for testing will be explained. Critically ill & medical professionals are prioritized. The testing roll-out is taking longer than is advertised on radio & TV. Please be prepared with questions when you get through. I anticipate opening Cardinal Gerontology (NON-medical) with limited services which will be mostly social / emotional support, referrals to local services, food & pharmacy delivery. My services resume Friday March 27, 2020 for essential errands only. Emotional support by old fashioned phone as well as Facetime beginning Monday March 23, 2020. Starting next Monday, New clients please call M-F 11am - 2pm. Former & current clients may call between 9am & 5pm. Some time slots will be free & dedicated to low or no cost delivery if you’re home is on my travel route as I am able for those with financial hardship. At this time to avoid unnecessary banking, cash or credit card is preferred because some bank branch closures are anticipated unless you are an existing client who may still present checks until further notice. Small businesses like mine are making adjustments as quickly as possible. Price adjusted lower if requested, no questions asked. Please realize the demand will grow over time, so patience during this time is essential. Volunteers and workers in the field are putting themselves at risk during this time. I will be using an N 95 mask, will be sanitizing & doing everything I possibly can to keep the items I deliver to you safe but I am relying on the diligence of pharmacy & grocery stores to do their part. I am not starting delivery until March 27 due to my self imposed 14 day quarantine so that clients feel safe with services. This decision although financially impactful I felt necessary to keep safety a top priority. I will not be transporting clients in the car because the goal is to reduce risk. If you are critically ill, please call 911 but make every effort to avoid the hospital & injury. If over 65 or having mobility issues- don’t do stairs & wear your medical alert device if you live alone. Don’t drive risking an accident unnecessarily. Charge your phone. Implement social distancing. I am offering phone check-ins daily via FaceTime or regular phone calls to ask questions or be directed to other local services and this time is being offered free of charge unless you wish to establish a standard appointment. Again, existing and former clients will receive priority. Cardinal Gerontology is one person- non- medical & I do not accept insurance. It’s just me😉If my voicemail is full please allow time for me to catch up or call social services in your town. I will be seeing requests in this order 1) text 860-967-9298 2)Phone calls/please give information with your name, phone # and need & Email for non- urgent matters Please! cardinalgerontology@gmail.comStay safe 💛 Katherine Cardinal
