🥘 Let’s talk convenience foods!
Convenience foods are pre packaged or pre prepared items that make meal prep quicker and easier—great for busy schedules!
💰 Do convenience foods save money?
Most convenience items cost more than making foods from scratch. However, the time saved during preparation can be a big benefit.
👉 In some situations, convenience foods may actually help reduce food waste.
For example: if you only need a small amount of chopped onion and don’t cook with onions very often, buying pre chopped onions may prevent the rest from being wasted.
⏱️ Convenience foods aren’t always about saving money—they’re about saving time and reducing waste. Choosing what fits your lifestyle can make meal prep less stressful!
