If you book a massage with me hoping I’m going to massage your p***c area, you have made a very poor life decision.

This is a professional massage practice, not a shady back-alley “spa.”

What you can ask for:
✔️ Back work
✔️ Neck work
✔️ Glutes
✔️ Professional hip flexor or psoas trigger point work

What you cannot ask for:
❌ Anything sexual
❌ Anything creepy
❌ Anything that makes me question how you were raised

I crafted a stunning protection box for a lovely friend 🌟💗🌟💗🌟💗🌟, feeling deeply humbled and grateful for the chance to bring my creativity to life for her. The symbol, her personal protection emblem, was carefully designed by me. I skillfully molded the snake from clay, while the flowers were delicately crafted from a joint compound typically used for drywall - a new technique I learned, discovering the need to add a special ingredient to enhance its durability. To add a touch of luxury, I applied foil paper in a golden hue. The sides of the box feature a unique texture achieved using bubble wrap in a sleek black finish.

Today marks a monumental milestone: 20 years as a massage therapist! My journey began after graduating from Bio-Chi Institute in 2005. I started out at Manley Chiropractic in Le Mars, Iowa, and Fresh Hair Studio Day Spa in Sioux City. Then, I took a leap of faith and moved to sunny San Diego, California, where I worked at Dream Wellness Chiropractic, Massage Envy, Pukalani Day Spa in Del Mar, and Mirabella Mansory Day Spa in Solana Beach.

In 2009, I returned home to Iowa and launched my own business, L’Amour de Massage, which thrived for a decade. I had the privilege of working with incredible clients and supportive colleagues along the way, from Farm Bureau’s office to Bollin Chiropractic, and eventually expanding to multiple locations.

After a period of growth and learning, I moved to Sioux City and joined Mind and Body Connection, while also sharing my knowledge as a massage therapy instructor for 11 years with Bio Chi Institute. Today, I’m proud to run my current practice, The Healer Within, and it’s been a wonderful three years of healing and growth.

I’m deeply grateful to so many people who’ve supported me along the way: Nicole Gangler, who designed my first logo; Pam Hutchins of Red’s Printing, who brought my promotional materials to life; Cathy Kromenhock, who helped me design my business signage; and my amazing friend Erin Stabile, who assisted with my business app and branding today. A big thank-you to 1st Step Chiropractic for renting your space to me during my first year. Your support helped me get started and meant so much on my journey.
