Exciting news in our STEMM education. We have our first students attending university! We are incredibly proud of Anton, Isaiah, Maris, and Gloria for continuing their education. Pictured is Maris and Gloria receiving their new laptops and Isaiah just received his today.

We are beyond grateful to our donors for helping supply the students with laptops. In addition, STEMM is able to give these students money for emergencies, transportation, housing, and tuition. What a blessing to see our students thrive and eventually give back to their community.

This is what STEMM is all about and we could not do this without our donors! Reach out if God is calling you to donate or take a life-changing trip to Tanzania.

Look what STEMM has been up to in Tanzania! 5 classrooms in the community have been renovated and ready for students to learn. As a former educator, I know the importance of the classroom environment. These pictures speak volumes don’t they? Many students now have a clean and safe classroom to learn.

We can’t thank our donors enough for believing in our mission to help our brothers and sisters in Tanzania. Stay tuned as we share more about other areas we are impacting.

Today's the day! Our A Night of Hope fundraiser starts this evening at 5:30pm at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sioux City North - Event Center. We'll have great food (from Aggies BBQ), great beverages (West O Brewing anyone?), a great program, a great Friend of STEMM recipient (CNOS, PC), and great Silent and Live Auction items! Wanted to update the STEMM family on the results of the May fundraiser. When we put it together, it was in response to a request by our village leaders to help with classroom overcrowding. They needed more space, not more teachers. We pledged to build a classroom per year to help. This was not a line item in our budget tho, so we had to figure out how to pay for it. Enter the May 30 fundraiser. Even on short notice, our supporters showed up and many who couldn’t attend, helped out. Thanks to cooperation between our STEMM Tanzania staff who provided excellent oversight , and the village who helped with the labor, we were able to create 5 new classrooms in the schools who needed them the most. Truly a partnership between the donors here in Siouxland and the recipients in Tanzania who provide labor with STEMM as the conduit. This is how it should work—Everyone contributes and the world becomes a little better. We are grateful!
