To truly be unstuck, we have to empower a different trajectory.

We treat this life much like a script that we are physically attached or bound to.

At times, we feel like the world has written our awful plot line, provided us with a handful of "B" actors, and sits back with popcorn to watch it all unravel like someone else’s circus.

Looking back, we seem to find ourselves in the same sort of scenarios again and again, repeating patterns that we long to let go.

We are presented with a variety on unfortunate circumstances and we lack the time, space and energy to do anything but take them "as is."

Conditioned to believe that "it is just the way it is" and we don't have an opportunity or are worthy for a better part, we accept status quo and trudge forward.

Fed with backhanded direction from broken humans and standing ready to receive consequences, we truly believe that "everything happens for a reason" and "karma will come around."

In the meantime, we sit in woe, feeling sorry for ourselves and waiting for a hero to save us.

Yet, what if we flipped the script?

For a moment, reimagine the timeline as a "Choose Your Own Adventure " book, the kind we read as kids.

When we get to a place of decision, we always have at least three options to move forward. If we choose what we deem as "wrong," we can begin again.

This metamorphosis isn't just a publicity stunt or a farse we carry with us. It is movement in another direction, because we see that we have many choices that lead to a handful of outcomes.

The most important spiritual growth doesn't happen when we are meditating or on a yoga mat. It happens in the midst of conflict.

When we are frustrated, angry, or scared and we are doing the same old thing and then, we suddenly realize that we have a choice to do it differently.

There isn't just one path that brings us forward into love and light, there are many.

We can choose differently.

Metamorphosis entails the ugly and the beautiful.

A spiritual awakening isn't all love and light.

In transformation, we imagine ourselves as lost sad souls who exist in a cloud of confusion.

If we could write the script, we would quickly shift into finding our true selves, happy, and with access to unlimited divine direction.

We would also pen in a handful of like-minded friends, plenty of resources, and a positive attitude.

After all, we have walked this timeline long enough without the time, space, and energy to lean into truth, walk away from worry, and be grateful for how far we have come.

We see people who have been "saved," found their own way, or shifted in such a way that they are now the priority, and they seem to glow with peace and joy, at least on the outside.

Perhaps, we seek the opposite of what we were, had, or longed for in hopes that our aura will shift as well.

Not many allude to what had to unwind to reach the core of their being and why or purpose that were created to be.

The "ugly" of a spiritual awakening is often brushed under the rug.

Team Swan once explained it this way. "Most people think being spiritual means being positive, but being spiritual actually means being conscious and aware.

To become conscious is much different than becoming positive. To become conscious and aware, we must become authentic. Authenticity includes both positive and negative."

Spirituality is truth that honors what we love and what we don't, where we go and those places we stay away from, who we share energy with and when we choose protect ourselves.

It empowers honesty which allows us to cease the shape-shifting and be truthful about our feelings regarding this existence.

It challenges our beliefs, conditioning, and earthly limits.

It ignites divine partnership and trust and teaches us to humbly accept unconditional love and grace.

The reality is that a spiritual awakening can be lonely, raw, and ugly, but only for our highest and best good as we emerge with purpose, lessons, and the most beautiful wings.

One of the best parts of transformation is discovering who we really are.

After years of assimilation, we recognize that this part we play every day doesn't necessarily reflect who we were created to become.

We were seeded with purpose and graced with incredible spiritual gifts.

We were presented with conundrums that we were divinely created to overcome and collect a handful of lessons from.

We have a dream, a voice, freedom of expression, and the most amazing intentions.

We deserve to be prioritized, loved, and honored.

We are love and light.

Metamorphosis is a heavenly invitation to find out who we are on purpose not by accident.

Up until this moment, on our earthy timeline, we have only discovered pieces of who we were slated to be completely by accident.

Before, we may have caught ourselves saying things we wouldn't have said without the ego holding up cue cards for us to obediently read.

We may have said "yes" when we meant "no" and "no" when we meant "yes" out of confusion.

We may have accepted or hoarded people around us due to circumstances, status, or assumptions requiring shape-shifting on our part.

Yet, when we are ready, the Universe calls to seek truth within and be grateful for the ability to unwind the clock and begin again.

Whatever we became doesn't have to be our forever.

We are free to make the changes necessary to live a life of joy, tranquility, enrichment, and healing.

We can rediscover who we are and what we want to accomplish in this life.

In a world full of earthly humans, who we seem to be shift our being from one set of eyes to the next.

Not sure when and where where society was conditioned to assume, but it sometimes gets the best of us as we clearly do not know people deeper than the few pieces of evidence we see.

We notice a some random things and quickly the brain and ego attempt to speculate what we have just witnessed, who that person is, or what obvious opportunities they have.

We think we know, but we don't.

Others tend to engage us much the same as they measure us up by their own wants, wishes, hopes, and experience.

Unfortunately, as people, we choose to be a magistrate in a trial that is only a figment of their imagination.

Reality is definitely filtered through what they want to see.

Yes, we get caught up in the conundrum as well.

Raised up to assimilate and shape-shift into what we know others wish to witness from us, we often change who we are to accommodate their liking.

We take suggestions and cues from the pranut gallery and voluntarily play the part.

Are they looking for a "good" spouse, a hard worker, or a dedicated friend? Would they like to cast someone with a lot of input or not much? Shall we be the leader or the follower in this scenario? Do they need someone who tones down the colorful language or adds more?

We thought we could read those scripts and we did for this long of our timeline.

Yet, we were often miscasted or replaced because sustaining a faux reality isn't our purpose.

As we engage in transformation, we are exhausted from putting so much time, space, and energy into who we do not wish to be.

We can't be everything to everyone.

The Universe leans in and reminds us that people understand us from their level of perception.

It is our responsibility to know who we are and not get lost on what they are projecting onto us.

Metamorphosis is about unwinding all of that and beginning again.

Authenticity is our guide as we make our own path.
