As humans, we are so quick to move on.
When things fail or fall apart in life, we quickly look for a replacement.
We are so accustomed to existing, with certain pieces in place, that when they do not function in a way that we hoped they would, we do not hesitate to move on to the next.
As we rush into the next scenario, we typically tend to sacrifice what we truly need, want, and wish for.
We seem to be hyperfocused on having anything, but empty space, in our hearts, minds, and souls.
Let alone, we do not reflect or take time to understand lessons let alone purpose.
Perhaps, we learned this from the nest or we may have navigated this path alone, but as we look back, we can see examples of such reactive tendencies.
For example, when a relationship ends, we hesitate to heal from its brokenness and we swiftly engage the next.
When an employer cuts ties, we package up our same self and head to the next one with similar intentions and perhaps, experience the same results.
When we set healthy boundaries, and set aside certain connections, so as they are once removed, we may find ourselves often seeking less than suitable replacements.
The old version of us could never find time, dpace, and energy to learn, heal, and grow.
Transformation changes that mindset.
The Source reminds us to rest between chapters of life. There is wisdom in the pause, where reflection happens, and our next steps become rooted in truth.
If we do not understand what just unwound, we can't begin again in a sustainable way.
