Meet Rose!🌹🌟

Rose is currently here at Westwood Specialty Care for a little while as she receives therapy to help her get stronger 💪. She is incredibly sweet and always brings a smile to everyone she passes. You can often find her rolling through the dining room with a big smile on her face, brightening the room wherever she goes. 💖

On special days, Rose’s smile gets even bigger when her family brings her dog, Molly, in for a visit 🐾. When asked what she loves most about Westwood, Rose shared that it’s "all the friendly smiles throughout the building" that make her feel so welcome.

We are excited to welcome Shayla as the new Director of Nursing to the Westwood Specialty Care team! 💚💙

Shayla has been in nursing since 1996 and earned her RN in 2003. She brings a wealth of leadership experience, having served as a Director of Nursing for over 10 years. Ready for a new challenge, Shayla was drawn to Westwood because of the opportunity to make an even greater impact.

Outside of work, Shayla is a proud mom of eight children—five of whom are adopted—showing her incredible compassion both at home and in her career.

We’re thrilled to have her experience, leadership, and heart as part of our team. Be sure to give Shayla a warm Westwood welcome! 💙

Welcome to Westwood Specialty Care

Westwood Specialty Care is designed for providing excellent health care for seniors in a homelike setting. Our dedicated staff work as a team with each patient’s primary physician and family to develop a personal plan of care.

We offer a full range of professional services, including 24-hour nursing services provided by a dedicated, caring and skilled staff. Our clean, comfortable and safe environment is warm and inviting. Our bedrooms are colorful and spacious. We provide three attractive and appealing meals a day plus snacks and accommodate special diet needs.

Westwood offers specialized activities to meet the needs and interests of the people we serve. Activities are provided in-house and outside the center. Our residents stay connected to the community by attending events within the community, by dining in local restaurants and by enjoying community theater.
