Thanks to everyone who attended another great meeting of “100+ Men & Women Who Care” Tuesday night at the newly remodeled Two Rivers Golf Club clubhouse. Thanks to the folks at Two Rivers for hosting us, with appetizers from Amy Daniels of Cooking SUX.

We were happy to have Jacob Wanderscheid from our previous beneficiary, Food Bank of Siouxland, on hand to receive the ceremonial “big check” in recognition of the $13,910 donation our group made to them. Jacob shared with us information about how the Food Bank works with many food pantries in the area.

Now, on to the business from Tuesday night—three worthy nonprofits were nominated: Youth for Christ, Siouxland Soup Kitchen and Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA. And the winner was Siouxland Soup Kitchen!

As usual, if you weren’t able to attend and submit your check at our meeting, write your $100 check made payable to Siouxland Soup Kitchen, and mail it to:

100+ Men & Women Who Care
P.O. Box 1202
Sioux City, IA 51102

OR, there is an online donation option for Siouxland Soup Kitchen, available on their website. If you do the online option please let Dave Madsen know so we can keep track of our donations.
