NOW HIRING: Licensed Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor

Family Solutions Services, Inc. is currently hiring a Licensed Social Worker/Mental Health Therapist to join our therapy team in our Orange City and LeMars offices. Interested candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health or a related field. Candidate must be licensed to practice in the State of Iowa, as an LISW, LMHC, LMSW, or LMFT. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package as well as the opportunity to work flexible hours if desired. We work with many children and families in our practice. We also work with individuals, families and couples who are struggling in various areas of their life. Trauma focused clinical skills are a huge plus. Candidate must be outgoing, personable, possess excellent listening, diagnostic and clinical skills. We are specifically looking for a therapist who is interested in working with Children and their families. Must be computer literate and self-motivated. Must be timely with deadlines and show great attention to detail when it comes to paperwork. Must also be willing to collaborate with others and be very self-motivated. We are looking for a clinician who has a heart for children and families. We also desire a therapist who has the desire to work with couples/marital issues and adults/children who are going through a rough patch in their lives. WE ARE HIRING IN SIOUX CITY!

Looking for a person to provide therapy, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, families, and couples experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. Responsibilities include performing assessment/intake to evaluate a variety of mental health and behavioral symptoms, developing an individualized treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic and patient placement criteria, utilizing outcome tools to determine patient progress, and maintaining progress notes and other documentation required for the client's medical record. Performing Behavioral Health Intervention Assessments for children and their families that may be in need of BHIS services.

Required skills include excellent verbal and written communication skills, success in working with a culturally diverse patient population and community as well as the ability to managing stress and crisis situations.

Relevant licensures include an LISW, LMHC, LMFT, or a master's degree in Social Work (would need direct supervision by clinical supervisor).
