Your stomach hurts. You’re bloated. You can’t seem to have great 💩. Maybe you’ve even tried some medications or supplements but it doesn’t fix the problem all the way.

➡️ Enter pelvic floor rehab for something called outlet dysfunction constipation.

Your p**p needs to pass through your pelvic floor as it exits your body. If your pelvic floor is holding on to extra tension, cannot relax or is uncoordinated (think contracting when it should be relaxing), you can have the following symptoms:
🔵 Incomplete bowel movements
🔵 Straining because you know something is there but nothing comes out
🔵 Wiping and wiping without getting clean
🔵 Fissures, hemorrhoids

Is this you? Come see us and get this solved ✅

Whether you’re prepping for a hysterectomy or had one years ago, it’s never too late to support your pelvic floor! 🩷

You probably had some pretty bothersome symptoms that led you to getting a hysterectomy. What they don’t tell you is that a whole new set of symptoms can emerge 😣😭

We’re here to make sure that doesn’t happen. Come see us 👋

If you’ve been considering PT, or pushing it off 👀, August is an INCREDIBLE month to get started.

Something about fresh routines and more structure just feels right ✨

So here’s the deal:
❤️ Dr. Gina is offering free 20 minute screening sessions throughout the month of August. It’s your chance to explore if PT is right for you, meet Gina and get some clarity on your symptoms. Welcome to the team, Tressa!! You’ll see her face and hear her voice a lot if you’re working with Uprise Pelvic Health and we’re pretty pumped about it 💞 Her presence is long overdue 🙏🏼 Get to know Tressa and let’s give her a warm welcome! ✨

“Hi, I’m Tressa, and I’m honored to be the welcoming face you’ll see at the front desk when you arrive at Uprise! I bring over seven years of experience in administrative and client care, and more importantly, a deep commitment to holding space for every person’s unique healing journey.

Whether I’m helping you schedule your first visit, answering your questions, or simply offering a grounding presence, my goal is to ensure your experience at Uprise feels smooth, supported and genuinely welcoming. I’m especially passionate about working with service-based teams that empower others through thoughtful care and education, and I feel so lucky to be part of one that’s truly leading the way in pelvic health.

When I’m not coordinating care, you’ll likely find me outside with dirt under my nails or in the kitchen surrounded by herbs and veggies. Gardening, making herbal remedies, and cooking with whatever’s in season are some of my favorite ways to unwind.”

🩸 Ever wonder why your menstrual cycle after baby seems to be different? Maybe the length of your cycle is different…Maybe it’s a little heavier or a little lighter. These are common concerns we hear from patients and we’re going to break down three reasons why these changes occur 🧐

1. Hormonal changes: it takes a while for your estrogen and progesterone levels to balance out after having a baby, especially if you’re breastfeeding. These are key hormones in regulating your cycle!

2. Your uterus can experience a shift in position and change in its ability to move freely after pregnancy and delivery. This can be a cause of painful cramping, mid cycle pain, or even spotting.

3. Pelvic floor tension or weakness. The pelvic floor supports the uterus (and other pelvic organs). If the level of support is too much or too little, it can cause pain!

Pelvic PT can help!! We have the skills to help restore normal blood flow and motion to the uterus and ovaries, counsel you on lifestyle factors that help balance hormones, and of course we can help you with your misbehaving pelvic floor muscles ❤️
