In August, any adult 55 and older is welcome to explore senior wellness during The Parkwood’s Wellness Thursday series.
Every Thursday at 10 a.m., The Parkwood hosts a 45-minute fitness class led by certified coach Kelly Witt, co-owner of Origin Strength and Origin Nutrition, a local wellness company dedicated to helping people of all ages build strength and adopt healthy, sustainable lifestyles.
Each session is just $10, and space is limited — so be sure to RSVP by calling 605-653-1805.
Here’s a peek at the menu each week:
Aug. 7 – Protein and smoothie bar
Aug. 14 – Eggs, sliced avocado and fresh fruit plate
Aug. 21 – Summer salad with grilled chicken
Aug. 28 – Quinoa bowl with fresh vegetables and seared tuna
