This weekend we had orphaned babies arrive after mom was hit by a car. We desperately need food for babies.

Spring means kitten season in cat rescue. This year was no different than previous years. We kept busy and kept saying it’s starting slowly this is odd. By end of March our volunteers were saying oh my gosh we’re filling up fast and it’s not stopping! By end of April we were in a panic worried how we’re gonna keep going. Our bottle feeding family was feeding 18 babies around the clock with 2 adults. Our fosters were filled with kittens and our pregnant moms had all started having babies.
By the end of May we had 75+ kittens. Then by the end of June we had 100+ kittens. Plus teens to adults! Fosters were full and the requests kept coming in by phone and email.
This left our fosters exhausted trying to care for the cats and keep up trying to fundraiser to have the supplies needed in order to care for the furbabies.
Like other rescues we are full, out of supplies, and rising vet bills. Our followers have always been amazing when we beg for help! Today we had a truck load of supplies donated at our food drive.
We have some specific needs we need to fill for kitten fosters. We’re getting back on track with our monthly calendar fundraisers in hopes our followers can help us once again stock our shelves for the fosters.
