The University of South Dakota’s Speech & Hearing Clinic is growing—and building on a strong foundation!

Clinic Director Stacie Carlson shares how they’re continuing to expand services like:
✅ Literacy and written language interventions
✅ Support for children with autism spectrum disorder, including a summer camp
✅ A language and literacy camp
✅ Treatment for speech sound disorders, with plans to include apraxia and orofacial myofunctional therapy

These services not only support the community—they also give students hands-on experience that prepares them for real-world success.
