Dry January, anyone? 😅

No, not that kind.
I’m talking about dry underwear!

If coughing, jumping, laughing, or chasing your kids has you leaking “just a little,” this is your sign to change that. Urine leakage isn’t a normal part of motherhood. It’s common, but it can be fixed!

Let’s make Dry January about bladder control, confidence, and getting your pelvic floor the support it deserves. 💪

Ready to start the year feeling strong and dry? I’ve got you. 💜

Big news over here ☺️

Our kids have been busy practicing taking care of a baby as they prepare for their new sibling scheduled to arrive in early July! 💗

I, on the other hand, have been busy sleeping, feeling nauseous, vomiting at patients’ houses (yes, that really happened 😅), and doing my best to put one foot in front of the other. The grace and care I’ve received during this season has been truly immeasurable. I’ve been a bit scatter-brained and MIA! 🤪

What a blessing it is to get to grow and carry another baby. Pregnancy after loss is always a mental challenge and a deep test of my faith—but one I’m walking through with hope, gratitude, and trust. 💜

Follow along as I share the personal exercises, mobility work, and preparations I’m making for my 4th labor, delivery, and recovery. This journey is already teaching me so much, and I’m grateful to bring you along!

This is what happens when you prepare your body for birth — intentionally.
As the region’s only certified Obstetrics specialist PT and certified birth doula, I’ll show you how to prepare your pelvis and pelvic floor for labor, how to push, and how to move through positions based on where baby is in your pelvis. Don’t just “wing it.” Show up prepared and you’ll be so happy you did the work!

Lately I’ve been working on helping my daughter’s little tummy heal her diastasis recti…that bulging and coning down the middle of her belly. 💕

For babies, this isn’t just about looks — it tells me her core is still figuring out how to manage pressure inside her abdomen. When that pressure isn’t well-controlled, it can show up as constipation, straining with challenges to get enough downward pressure to properly empty bowels.

As a pediatric pelvic PT, I work on helping little ones build the connection to improve how their body manages pressure so things like p**ping and tummy control become easier.

At home, we’re focusing on encouraging climbing through reciprocal patterns and deep core engagement through movement to help her core and pelvic floor work together from the inside out.

It’s such a reminder that even little bodies are learning how to coordinate these systems and that support early on can make a big difference. 💫.

Hip squeezes are great… but they’re not the only way to support your body in labor! 🙌

As an OB PT + birth doula, here are some of my favorite underrated coping tools:
✨ Reusable hand warmers for that soothing low-back heat
✨ A labor comb provides a natural pain-relief boost by activating pressure points in your hand, helping your brain shift focus away from contractions and into a calmer state
✨ Massage tools release tension and keep your body relaxed.

In labor, you want a toolbox full of options because you never know what your body may need in the moment.

Follow me for more evidence-based, practical labor strategies you can actually use!
