🎉Holly is a warm, approachable, and genuinely caring therapist with several years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. With specialized training in trauma, she brings a deep sense of empathy, insight, and steadiness to her work, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood.

❤️‍🩹Holly has a passion for working with people of all ages and backgrounds, but she especially connects with young adults navigating life transitions—whether it’s stepping into independence, facing identity questions, or managing academic and career pressures. Her supportive style and down-to-earth presence help clients feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions, building resilience, and discovering their own inner strengths.

🐾In her free time, Holly enjoys cooking,reading, live music, outdoors, lake time, snuggling her sweet dog Lilac, but mostly being with family and friends.

👋 Meet Dan Knutson, MFT Associate

Dan is a warm and down-to-earth therapist who helps people build stronger relationships, navigate life changes, and feel more connected to themselves and others. He works primarily with adults and couples who want to grow, heal, and create lasting change.

❤️‍🩹 His style is compassionate and collaborative—drawing from EFT, IFS, and CBT to make therapy practical and personal.

🎬 Outside of session, you’ll usually find Dan watching movies, relaxing at the lake with family, and enjoying life as a proud dad.

🌈 Follow the Yellow Brick Road to Yankton, South Dakota where Austin is expanding our practice. He is accepting new clients and hosting a GRAND OPENING at 101 West 2nd Street, Yankton, SD. Appointments available on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Austin’s all about helping people see the potential they already have—and bringing it out in a way that feels encouraging and real.

❤️‍🩹 He works with kids, teens, and adults (ages 8–65) through life’s tougher moments—things like anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, big life changes, and performance stress. He also teams up with primary care providers to assess ADHD in both adolescents and adults.

🏈 Fun fact: Austin has a soft spot for working with athletes through building up mental strength when recovering from sports injuries or performance limiting thoughts.
🏌️ When he’s not working, you’ll probably catch him golfing, running, skiing with family and friends, or out walking the world’s cutest puppy (and yes, he’s biased).

Yellow Brick Road Counseling and Therapy started it's journey on May 1st, 2020! After 5 years it is fun to celebrate the changes and growth! From the little office downtown to Two Willows and now Lyncrest Place! I am thankful to all those great people and clients that have been a part of this! Here's to another 5 years and even bigger and better things!
