Midweek Friendly Reminders...

In the hustle and bustle of life, we often forget to take care of ourselves without a little sense of self guilt.

Today, we want to gently remind you, there is only 1 you.
You are valuable.
You are worthy.
You are important.
You are enough.

So as we go about our day, trying to manage everything, the stress, the chaos, even for a brief 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 8 minutes...heck 15 minutes and we have ourselves a self-care party...take a brief moment to take care of you...for you.

Asking someone “are you thinking of ending your life” is NOT going to make the situation worse…

Actually, it MAY allow for more communication on how that person is feeling and thinking in that moment. It MAY show that person that someone is actually SEEING or HEARING them.

“Let Me” vs. “Let Them” by 🫶

Ever play tug-of-war as a kid?
A game of power and control?
Who was going to “win”? Who was most “powerful”?

Our life, our emotions, our energy is often like this game of tug-of-war. Obviously, we want others to like us, to value us, to see all we are capable of…often trying so hard to get them to recognize these things, feel/value us…
When we do this, we “Let Them” have far more control over our mood, our perception of ourselves/our value…

What if…just, what if, we chose “Let Me”?
“Let Me” choose where I disperse/conserve my emotions, energy, invest back within oneself, learn to be aware of one’s emotions and regulate them healthy, place focus on the value you are bringing/putting forth daily, knowing your intentions are authentic and genuine, as that is who you are.

How about we choose “Let Me”?

We hear that word utilized so often throughout our life...

"I am failing"
"I am a failure"

What if...just What if...we looked at things a tad bit differently?

Each and every day we as humans have this awesome opportunity, it's called learning. We can and do learn (even the smallest of things). It also is not going to be perfect, nor expect it to be...that is why it is called learning...not perfectionism.

Being oneself, our authentic self, encompasses acknowledging the flaws, imperfections and mistakes we have made. We are human...

A person should not be defined by their mistakes, yet so often, others perceptions, judgements and expectations are placed on individuals, causing the individual to internally question themself, their worth, "am I enough".

Mistakes are apart of us, our history...often times, these very same "mistakes" are what have helped us grow into who we are today, with reflection and choosing YOU :)
