If you’re dealing with occasional tension, trouble unwinding, or just feeling “on edge,” it may be worth looking at how your body supports relaxation at a deeper level.

✔️ GABA – supports healthy mood and nervous system balance
✔️ L-Theanine – encourages relaxation without making you feel tired
This combination works with your body’s natural processes to help you feel more at ease, without the grogginess that can come with other options.

Hyperthyroidism is a common condition in cats and has also been observed in small mammals such as guinea pigs. One of the most commonly prescribed medications for managing this condition is methimazole.
To help make medication easier for pets and their owners, compounding pharmacies can prepare methimazole in customized dosage forms such as flavored chewables, soft treats, capsules, oral liquids, oral pastes, or transdermal gels applied to the inner ear.
Talk with your veterinarian or our compounding pharmacist to learn more about personalized medication options for your pet.
Did you know your hormones can play a major role in your mood?
Fluctuations in hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone can impact brain chemistry, affecting how you feel day to day. Changes during life stages like menopause, or even subtle imbalances, may contribute to symptoms like low mood, fatigue, or trouble sleeping.
That’s where personalized care matters. Our compounding pharmacy creates customized hormone therapies tailored to your unique needs, which in turn may help support balance, better sleep, and overall well-being.
If something feels “off,” it may be worth looking beyond the surface. Your body could be asking for balance.
For many individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory sensitivities can make taking medications more challenging. Certain flavors, textures, or dosage forms may be difficult to tolerate.
Our compounding pharmacy can work with prescribers to prepare customized medication options that may be easier to take, including flavored oral liquids, chewables, rapid-dissolve tablets, sprinkle capsules, nasal sprays, or transdermal preparations when appropriate.
Personalized dosage forms and flavor options may help address sensitivities that make standard medications difficult for some patients.
If you have questions about personalized medication options, talk to our compounding pharmacist.

Dental health involves more than brushing and flossing.
Some oral health concerns, like dry mouth, gum irritation, or oral discomfort, may require more personalized medication options. When standard products don’t always meet a patient’s specific needs, dentists may partner with a compounding pharmacist to prepare customized formulations.
Compounded medications can be prepared in specific strengths and dosage forms such as mouth rinses, bio-adhesive gels, troches, or fast-dissolve tablets. Ask our pharmacist for more information.

Wound healing is more complex than it may seem, and understanding the process can make a big difference in recovery.
When your skin is injured, your body moves through several stages of healing, including stopping bleeding, managing inflammation, rebuilding tissue, and strengthening the area over time.
But not all wounds heal the same. Factors like infection, inflammation, and underlying conditions can slow the process or lead to complications.
That’s where personalized care comes in. At our compounding pharmacy, we work with providers to create customized medications tailored to each patient’s unique needs, helping support the healing environment, manage symptoms, and promote better outcomes throughout the recovery process.
Rosacea is more than just a temporary flush; it’s a chronic skin condition that can cause ongoing redness, sensitivity, and irritation.
What many people don’t realize is that flare-ups are often triggered by everyday factors like sun exposure, heat, stress, spicy foods, or even certain skincare products. Identifying and managing these triggers is key to keeping symptoms under control and supporting healthier skin.
At our compounding pharmacy, we take a personalized approach, helping to create customized solutions designed to support your skin’s unique needs and promote long-term comfort and balance.
Weight management isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your treatment shouldn’t be either.
Many people face challenges like hormonal imbalances, metabolic issues, or nutrient deficiencies that can make it harder to reach their goals. That’s where personalized care comes in. Custom-compounded medications can be tailored to your unique needs, aiming to support metabolism, manage appetite, and improve overall balance. Professional-grade supplements may also be useful as part of a weight management regimen.
At our compounding pharmacy, we focus on individualized solutions designed to work with your body in collaboration with your health care provider. Ask us how our personalized approach can support your goals.

Feeling overwhelmed or mentally drained? You’re not alone.
Occasional stress and tension can impact everything from focus to overall well-being. Supporting your body’s natural relaxation response may help you feel more balanced day to day.
Our Wellness Basics GABA Calm combines two naturally occurring compounds, GABA and L-Theanine, that are known to support relaxation and a positive mood.
L-Theanine, found in green tea, has been studied for its ability to promote a calm, focused state without drowsiness. GABA, a key neurotransmitter in the brain, plays an important role in regulating stress responses and supporting mental clarity.
Looking for a more natural approach to managing stress? Talk with our pharmacist to see if this option may be a good fit for you. Save 20% off Wellness Basics GABA Calm throughout April.

Chemotherapy is designed to target cancer cells, but it can also affect healthy cells, which is why side effects can be so challenging.
Many people experience symptoms like nausea, fatigue, digestive issues, loss of appetite, and overall discomfort during treatment. These side effects often happen because chemotherapy impacts rapidly dividing cells in areas like the digestive tract, skin, and hair follicles.
While every journey is different, support and symptom management can make a meaningful difference in day-to-day comfort.
At our compounding pharmacy, we focus on personalized solutions that may help support patients through treatment, working alongside your care team to address individual needs and potentially improve overall quality of life.

Many times, a patient can benefit from a medication in a tablet or capsule form, but that same medication contains an inactive ingredient that the patient cannot tolerate or may have an allergy to. This inactive filler may be a dye, gluten, or even lactose. With a doctor’s prescription, we can make that medication in a capsule form but leave out the problem filler. Sometimes oral dosage forms will cause drowsiness, dizziness, constipation or nausea. Classic examples of these are antispasmodics, anti-emetics and pain management drugs. We can take the active chemicals and compound them into a topical transdermal application. The product is absorbed without use of the stomach and or liver, and side effects are limited. I always say “why treat the big toe and little finger if they don’t need it?” Put the drug where you need it and it will usually stay there 6 to 8 hours. There are many drugs that do work through systemic absorption when needed.
Our list of ideas can be very helpful. We compound sterile medications in our state-of-the-art class 1000 clean room. We prepare many medications and have many flavors available – animals even love us. We love compounding and set our standards so high that we electively became accredited by the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board. Our accreditation proves that we are among the best in our field.
