As Memorial Day approaches, all of us at Owen’s Outfitters want to take a moment to both remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are humbled by the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Thank you to all who have given everything to this county.

We will be closed 5/24 and 5/25. Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend.

We don't always think of exercise equipment as a healthcare item but for many it's crucial. They're often used for rehab, post-surgical recovery, weight loss, and more.

That's why we accept these items at Owen's Outfitters and (as always) lend them out for free. If you know someone in need please send them our way. We're currently overstocked and would love to find it a good home!

Medical equipment is often amazing and built to last for years. That means there is usually a lot of life left in it after someone recovers from an accident or surgery. We get to be that link connecting two people and keeping these items out of the landfill.

Everyone wins. The donor gets an unneeded piece of equipment out of the house, the recipient gets the equipment they require, the planet gets fewer items in the landfill, and the community health improves. Plus, we all save money when we reuse instead of having insurance, the individual, the government, or the healthcare system buying new every time.

We're incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to do what we do. If you know anyone in need of medical equipment please point them in our direction.

When people and families take care of themselves they make the whole healthcare system better! Every time someone improves their health they reduce costs for everyone by avoiding trips to the ER, reducing strain on care facilities, and reducing long-term health complications.

Borrowing equipment and supplies keeps these items out of landfills and improves the lives of people who use them. We need people to use this equipment every bit as much as the people who donate it. You're all part of making this a better, healthier world. Thanks!

Not one, not two, but THREE amazing organizations showed up to help with our SEUW Day of Action! Huge thanks to:

They came and got things DONE! Landscaping, organizing our warehouse, construction, and upgrading our donation drop-off area. This crew can do it all and have fun doing it! They were incredible and we can't say thanks enough. Thanks to SEUW as well. Proud day to be part of this wonderful community!

A little girl running across our warehouse and telling her sister she's excited about toothpaste and a new toothbrush. The sister then runs back to the shelf and gets her own set. When families are living paycheck to paycheck everything helps.

Every donation matters. People don't always think of soap, toothpaste, floss, bandaids, or other day-to-day items as healthcare but they truly are. Taking care of her teeth today means fewer complications later on.

If you're able to donate any of those day-to-day items they make a big difference. You can honestly make a Monday in April like Christmas with something as simple as mouthwash or a brush. Thanks to everyone who helps make this mission possible.
