Business Philosophy
I am extraordinarily passionate about my work and I have trained diligently for 22 years to bring you the experience that I do on the table. As my client you will receive quality massage services from someone you can trust to hold a space for you. It is up to you to prioritize massage therapy for yourself...no judgment or pressure. Many still view Massage Therapy as a “luxury”
or “unaffordable”. I view it as a priority that most can not afford to neglect. YOU are in charge of your session and it is my expectation that we develop a positive therapeutic relationship. I want you to connect with your health through massage. Massage Therapy done well should make you feel awake! At Mojo Hands you will always receive full time for your session, choice of your own music each session (your Iphone easily loads to our music system) and professional service. Therapeutic products will also be sold. We accept cash, checks and credit cards (Master Card, Visa, Discover and
American Express).
** Monthly Punch Cards: Punch cards are non-transferrable. If you need to miss a month, arrange with Sarah. They are not intended as yearly cards so put your massage on your calendar please. If you miss a month, a $10 fee is expected at your next visit. Due to the variability with Covid scheduling punch cards are no longer being offered and sessions are paid each time you come in until further notice.
** Referral Bonus: when 5 clients list you as a referral on their intake form and pay for a one hour session; you get a free massage.
** Gift Certificates: If you need to run a credit card, take a certificate and we can run your card by phone.
** Early morning, evening and weekend hours are available at Sarah's discretion and will be based on need. Times falling outside of regular office hours will be billed at regular rates plus a $30 fee. If you use a gift certificate or punch card outside of my office hours, the difference in fee cost is expected.
* NO 24 HOUR NOTICE POLICY: 24 hour cancellation is expected; 48 hours is ideal. Frequent cancellations will incur a charge for that session or result in you not being scheduled again. Running 15 minutes behind your appointment time justifies a cancellation for which you are obligated to pay for or you will be expected to pay for the session shortened.
** Illness: our expectation for health is that you are without symptoms of illness when you come for your massage. I expect all body fluids to be contained and all wounds to be covered. Illness, rashes, coughs, allergies etc. are reasons for a reschedule and you will be sent home if you present with symptoms. If you receive a live virus vaccine or Covid vaccine or boosters, I will expect you to come in no earlier than three weeks after that vaccination date. Due to the proximity of our work, a surgical mask may be required for your session until future notice. You should plan on having a cloth or a surgical mask with you for your session. Any uncontrolled coughing or sneezing will be contained by you and you may be asked to reschedule. Specific health protocols will be set out for you before your appointment and are expected to be followed to the letter.
