Our team is hosting a resource table on Nov. 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. for those interested in quitting to***co. We it is challenging, often requiring 8-10 attempts, which can lead to frustration. It's essential to view quitting as a process, with each attempt bringing Veterans and employees closer to being to***co-free. For some, GASO (Great American Smokeout) can serve as a quit day, while others may use it to create a quit plan or practice quitting. Encourage practice strategies on GASO:
- Delay cravings for 5-10 minutes.
- Avoid carrying to***co products and remove them from familiar locations.
- Stay away from typical to***co-use areas.
- Engage in alternative activities like walking or reading.
- Use substitutes such as sugar-free candy or healthy snacks.
