Yesterday, Touchmark at All Saints was honored to be featured by KELOLAND News for our Veterans Day celebration recognizing the many residents and team members who have served our country.

From Vietnam veteran Bob Balicki to retired Colonel Larry Weiss and keynote speaker Darren Stemple, the day was filled with heartfelt stories, gratitude, and reflection. At Touchmark, honoring veterans isn’t limited to one day—it’s part of who we are every day.

Today, we honor all the veterans who call Touchmark home—and those across our nation—whose courage, service, and sacrifice protect the freedoms we cherish.

This Veterans Day, we’re especially proud to share the story of Touchmark resident and U.S. Navy Veteran Ken Cumings, whose 25-year career reflects the strength and resilience found in so many who’ve served.

This morning, we had the opportunity to help assemble donation bags for Church on the Street. It’s always so meaningful to come together, lend a helping hand, and give back to our local community. Small acts of kindness truly make a big difference!

Happy WOW Story Wednesday!
Recently, a guest joined us at Touchmark at All Saints for a short-term stay to experience life in our community. During her first couple of days, our Building Services team quickly responded to a few requests for help with her TV remote—each time making sure she was comfortable and settled in.

Then, late one Friday evening, another work order came in after hours. While TV issues aren’t usually considered emergencies, Building Services team member Curtis Dunn recognized that a relaxing evening was important to her experience—and could make all the difference in how she felt about Touchmark.

Even though he wasn’t on call, Curtis came in after hours to personally check on the TV and visit with her, ensuring everything worked perfectly before he left.

Thank you, Curtis, for demonstrating what it means to insist on excellence as a standard approach. Your care and initiative truly reflect the Touchmark Difference!

This morning we visited Red Truck Alpaca Farm in Brandon, SD. Residents had a great time meeting the alpacas, learning fun facts, and sharing the experience side by side. It was a wonderful way to start the day! 💛
