For those under 60 yrs old, we recommend a hearing test every 3-5 years ✅.

Those over 60 should have this exam done annually ✅.

As more young people risk hearing loss sooner than the preceding generation, it is important for everyone in the family to get their hearing tested regularly. 👍

The higher risk of loss is due to more frequent environmental noise, unsafe listening practices when watching videos or music, and the frequent use of sound amplifiers (ear buds). 🎧

In the past, the stigma was that only “older people” need to get their hearing tested.
However, this day and age, it is simply not true. 🧑👳‍♀️

Dr. Rounseville-Norgaard and her twin sister were diagnosed with hearing loss at the age of three. Dr. Rounseville-Norgaard has worn hearing aids since. Her goal is to help each patient with his or her own unique hearing needs to find a solution that improves quality of life. “I am excited to be able to share what hearing aids have to offer based on my personal and professional experience to help others struggling to hear. Hearing loss is a quality of life issue, I get it….I live it.”
