Some days I wake up already overwhelmed—my brain spinning with school forms, snacks to pack, clients to support, texts to respond to, and laundry that never ends. I love my job as a therapist. I love being a mom. But sometimes carrying it all feels like walking a tightrope while juggling fire.
Therapists aren’t exempt from the mental load. We’re just as human as everyone else. We forget things. We cry in the car. We make frozen waffles for dinner.
This is your reminder: You are not doing it wrong. It’s just hard.
Let’s keep showing up, even if we’re a little messy in the process. 💛
