Hi! I’m Cassidy - the owner of Unwind Bodywork

I’ve owned Unwind for a little over a year now, so I apologize that this post is a little late. But, I wanted to share a little about myself for those of you who don’t know me.

- I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2023, graduating from Stewarts School, here in Sioux Falls
- I studied under Beth for a year, specializing in Thai massage, before taking over as the new owner of Unwind.
- A big reason why I decided to become a massage therapist was to help people, my main goal for Unwind Bodywork is to have everyone walk out feeling happier, better, and more relaxed than when they stepped through the door
- Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked at Stepping Stones Preschool and Enrichment Center in Hartford and as an Educational Assistant in the Sioux Falls School District
- I’m a dog mom to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel🐾
- My favorite colors are mint green, black, and pink
- I love reading, being outdoors, traveling, going to concerts, watching sports and movies (particularly scary/horror movies), and spending time with my friends and family

This year for the holidays, Unwind will be selling a limited number of packages that will be an additional five percent off. Since only so many will be available for this discount, it will be a first come first serve basis. These packages will be in-store purchases only. The sale starts Today November 25 and will go through Friday November 29.

During the month of December all individual services will be 10% off using code: Holiday24

I am not always available to be at the front desk, as I may be in a session. I will be available all day on Wednesday November 27 to sell packages. If you have any questions or would like to stop by but are unsure if I will be in session, feel free to email or text and ask.

Beth Petersen has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2013. She graduated from Saint Paul College in Saint Paul, MN. During her time in college, she learned many massage modalities, but Thai Massage is what stood out to her the most. She feels that Thai Massage allows her to achieve her goal of lengthening contracted (tight) muscles most efficiently with the best results. This is why she founded Unwind Yoga & Bodywork in 2018. She feels that loss of mobility is what leads to pain, which ends up leading to loss of independence later in life. Beth’s vision and mission is to help her clients lead their lives in less pain.
