So recently I was reading a great book ("Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman) and in the book there was a great line, so I just had to use it for a meme! For setting purpose Eleanor has to get a new outfit for a funeral and asked for the help of someone at essentially the British equivalent of Macy's and the lady tried to sell her heels. Eleanor had previously gone to get a different new outfit where the sales associate tried to sell her heels too. And so as this was the second new outfit with the suggestion of heels her inner monologue was this:

"she tried to steer me towards farcical heels again, why are these people so incredibly keen on crippling their female customers and I began to wonder if cobblers and chiropractors had some sort of fiendish cartel"

So rest easy knowing we here at Jorde Chiropractic are not in any fancy cartel with any cobblers..... but if you happen to be having any shoe related injuries come on and we can help!

It's Christmas Eve eve and so you don't have long to nudge your name from the naughty to the nice list! What good dead are you going to try and do to get you to move back onto the nice list? (I always have a 'let me explain' letter)

We still have openings to nudge you into alignment though with us being open for the rest of this afternoon and for a half day tomorrow! Then we are closed Christmas day but open again St. Stevens day (or the day after Christmas for all you Americans) for a half day.

We all hope that you guys are having a safe and wholesome black Friday! Don't forget that we are open tomorrow Saturday for patients and any out of towners that need some Chiropractic help while in town.

Now that Thanksgiving is behind us we at the clinic are getting into the Christmas spirit.

You can always tell it is the start of the Christmas season in our office as DR. Olson keeps the spirit alive with his famous Christmas ties! It's time to start off the Christmas season. Santa and his reindeer will lead us in a rousing rendition of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year".

We will be doing a weekly round-up of all his Christmas ties each week! Let us know if you have a favourite!

It's Monday again, and the first Monday in November.

We are coming into that busy time of the year where it's all go all the time with holidays, kids, and decorating, the weather is getting colder, all the leaves falling or fallen, and voting, too! Just a friendly reminder to schedule your chiropractic appointment too to make sure you are in the best shape to do all those busy actives.

There's not really an ideal way to use a laptop to protect your spine. Just a way to protect the neck or a way to protect the upper back and shoulders. Most people, like this guy here, end up in a position that's not good for either.

Just a heads up that Dr. Jorde won't be in the clinic this Saturday. Instead, he will be working a booth at the Etc. Expo for Her in the premier center. Dr. Olson will be there Friday afternoon and evening. So if you happen to be there, find us and say hi, or if you know anybody who will be there who you've been telling about us for awhile, tell them to look out for us for a free mini massage.

What that means for patients, however, is that while the doctors are learning new ways to better serve you all, our office will be closed on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th.
