We currently have an opening for a Staff Accountant (with opportunities for advancement) who is ready to join our team in a growing, fast-paced work environment, with a small office feel. Duties will focus on multi-company accounting including accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll. A Degree in Business/Accounting is required and attention to detail is a must!

George Boom is celebrating his 100th Birthday!

Join us as we celebrate this very special day on Sunday, December 14, 2025. We will be hosting an open house from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the George Boom Funeral Home Reception Center.

Please enter through the Lower Level Entrance on the north side of the funeral home.

We hope to see you there as we honor George and this incredible milestone!

Today we celebrated the life of Harley F Marek, a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, and pillar of his community who passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 80. Harley was a golf enthusiast ⛳️ so today he was honored by his friends and family with a golf ball salute 🏌️‍♂️

We were honored to serve lunch to the Sioux Falls Police Department today in celebration of National Police Week. On behalf of George Boom Funeral Home and Miller Funeral Home, thank you to all the dedicated officers and staff who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. It was a privilege to show our gratitude.
