“A recent study analyzing more than 115 million patient records from academic health centers offers new insights. Published in BMJ Open, the study shows that adults receiving chiropractic spinal manipulation (CSM) for newly diagnosed sciatica are less likely to be prescribed tramadol in the following year than those receiving standard medical care.

This finding challenges traditional pain management strategies and highlights the potential effectiveness of CSM in providing relief without the risks linked to long-term pain medication use.

Over one year, patients who received chiropractic care were 68 percent less likely to be prescribed tramadol than those who received standard medical care.”

I am a "very seasoned professional"😄 30 years ago today I graduated with over 100 other doctors (great people from all over the world) from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa!!!😊 David Thomas Mitchell Tim Gross Robert Blue Reni Klavsen Kathy Reaume Jackson Elizabeth Harrelson Lee Becci Noren-Lewis Debi Simari-Papotto Parrish Skrien Dan Thompson Brad Feldner David Gauthun Mike Anzalone Immediately after graduation, my roommate's mom asked me if I was going back to South Dakota and I said "I'm never going back to South Dakota!". Never say never.... after a year in Colorado, I moved back to SD. Best thing I ever did! Thanks to all the people that have kept my career current!!
