We have been busy at Stoney. Last week we played shuffle board. It was not easy to push that puck onto the shamrocks woth 10 points. Guess we need to come up with a different idea next time. Today we played cup pong! The Hungry Hippos ruled the game. No luck for those leprechauns. Thank goodness we had young legs to run after those loose balls! Laurel and I voted and delegated them!! 😜

At crafts this week, we fast forwarded to Easter. They did a great job with both of their projects!!

💙 A 20-Year Milestone Worth Celebrating! Thank You, Jody! 🌟

Jody has served as the Administrator leading our Sioux Falls community for 20 years, guiding StoneyBrook Suites Assisted Living since the day it first opened its doors in 2006. From the very beginning, she has poured her heart into serving seniors and their families with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care.

She understands that choosing assisted living is a deeply personal decision, and she has a special gift for helping people feel at ease from the very first conversation. Residents, families, and team members alike know they are welcomed, heard, and truly valued in her presence.

Outside of StoneyBrook, Jody treasures time with her husband Jeff and their three daughters, Alyssa, Ashely, and Addyson, along with their extended family.

We are incredibly grateful for Jody’s leadership and the lasting impact she continues to make in Sioux Falls.

Dominoes was the game of choice today. We get more and more involved every time we play! Thanks for the fun time ladies and gents!! Also, today, our ducks returned!! For those who have followed we have had a pair come back for a few years. Today we had 2 pair. I was just a little late grabbing my phone and 3 of them flew away! How strange is it that they returned in February. Let’s hope they decide to build their nest here again this year. WE WANT BABIES!

This is Valentines week. ❤️We started the week off with playing Cupid’s Arrow. The object of the game was to get the arrow in the designated square or on the plate. If it landed in the square it was 1 point, if it landed on the plate it was worth the points on the plate. We had 2 teams; Roses and Cacti! (They chose the names; I didn’t!). Guess they felt pokey today! lol. In the end, the Cacti held bragging rights. They won 3 games to 1.
