NMN has regained its Dietary Supplement Status
NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) is officially reinstated as a lawful dietary supplement after the FDA's September 2025 reversal, ending years of regulatory uncertainty. This decision restores access to this key NAD+ precursor and validates its use in custom formulations.

The FDA reversed its 2022 action that had classified NMN as a drug candidate. Evidence showed NMN was already marketed in the U.S. as early as 2017, and petitions from the Natural Products Association (NPA) and Alliance for Natural Health (ANH) successfully challenged the classification.
