We were at the Central Oregon Sportsman Show this past weekend. As many of you know, we like to promote cool products and products we see value in. This is a perfect example of just that. We came across this super cool fire starting putty. It’s waterproof, meaning you can submerge the ball of putty in water, pull it out, tear off a piece, and it will light a fire. It also won’t dry out in your pack. Here’s a demonstration I filmed. We will also be giving out a sample of this at our next Wilderness First Aid Retreat this weekend at the Big Lake Youth Camp

We’re a little late getting this posted, but we’re excited to announce the lucky winner from last weekend’s Douglas County Sportsman Show! 🎉

We gave away a fully stocked trauma kit packed with lifesaving essentials, including a tourniquet, combat gauze, Israeli bandage, chest seal, trauma shears, Sharpie, Coban, roller gauze, and additional bandaging supplies — all organized in a compact, easy-to-carry case.

We had a busy weekend last weekend at the Eugene Sportsman Show. We’ve gotten a little bit of rest, restocked our supplies and giveaway goodies, and now ready to see you all at the Roseburg Sportsman Show this weekend!
