Life and Balance Chiropractic Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on the relationship between the body's structure and it's function.

As we all know, Alaskans are considered “life athletes”. “Oh just built a retaining wall over the weekend”. “Went out hunting and shot 3 deer this afternoon”. “Climbed a mountain and now going to chop wood”. It is my goal to keep each and every person functioning at their best because getting laid up from pain, even for a few days, can lead to huge setbacks here in the Last Frontier.

Massage therapy will be discontinued starting January 2024.

Don't squeeze hard for long periods of time; try to avoid bending your wrist in awkward positions. Save your knees. Squatting for a long time is hard on those joints, so try kneeling, with one knee down, and then alternate between your left and right knee. Gardening stools or knee pads can help as well.

Symptoms of stroke include trouble walking, speaking, and understanding, as well as paralysis or numbness of the face, arm, or leg.
People may experience:
Muscular: difficulty walking, paralysis with weak muscles, problems with coordination, stiff muscles, overactive reflexes, or paralysis of one side of the body
Visual: blurred vision, double vision, sudden visual loss, or temporary loss of vision in one eye
Speech: difficulty speaking, slurred speech, or speech loss
Whole body: fatigue, lightheadedness, or vertigo
Limbs: numbness or weakness
Sensory: pins and needles or reduced sensation of touch
Facial: muscle weakness or numbness
Also common: balance disorder, difficulty swallowing, headache, inability to understand, mental confusion, or rapid involuntary eye movement
