✨ Community Restorative Reset — FREE This Friday ✨

In honor of the blackout date, and in solidarity with the collective call to defund ICE and protect human dignity, we are offering Friday’s Restorative Reset class free to the community as a space to pause, breathe, and tend to our nervous systems together.

These are intense, tender, and overwhelming times. Our intention is to create a gentle sanctuary where we can soften out of fear, release what we’ve been holding, and remember safety inside our bodies and in community.

🕯 What to expect:
Kerry will guide a deeply nourishing Restorative/Yin-style class with supported postures, breath, and stillness.

Eliza will be present offering Reiki + subtle sound healing throughout the class.

Together we’ll support the group in settling the mind, calming the nervous system, and coming back into the body.

Restorative is perfect if you’ve never tried yoga, if you’re moving through injury or physical limitations, or if you simply need to rest. You’ll mostly be lying down, supported by props, letting gravity do the work.

🗓 Tomorrow (Friday 1/30)
⏰ 5:15–6:15pm
📍 Alchemy Healing Arts

Come exactly as you are.
Let this be an hour to exhale, be held, and remember you are not alone. 🤍

Did you know we host private events like this lovely birthday party for ?

This was such a special event! The birthday girl wanted to create an intimate night of embodiment & connection— such a beautiful gift to her community & awesome way to celebrate!!

The evening started with an incredible yoga class by - such a treat to experience his class!

Then everyone enjoyed the delicious vegan spread by … (I’m still dreaming of that orange chocolate cake!)

After some mingling & digestion hosted a .wisdomschool circle — live DJ set. People were getting DOWN!!! 🥳

Truly such a blessing to facilitate spaces like this.

We host bachelorette parties, team building events, and you can bring in your own catering or we’ll help you curate everything.

Thank you Em for trusting us & for celebrating in this gorgeous way! Happy birthday!!

Come as you are.
No, really. Like… actually as you are.

✨ Gassy
✨ Cry-y
✨ Frustrated about the state of the world
✨ Tender
✨ Wired
✨ Tired
✨ Feeling yourself
✨ Feeling like a cozy potato

All welcome.

You don’t need to be calm, flexible, positive, spiritual, or “fixed” to walk through our doors. You don’t need to know what you’re working on. You don’t need to have a good attitude.

At AHA, we believe in meeting what’s real.
Letting yourself be seen.
Letting your body lead.
Letting the moment be the moment.

Messy, magical, tender, awkward, radiant — it all belongs.

Come as you are.
We’ve got space for you. 🤍

Dancing Freedom is a community dance practice.
A simple, soulful way to move your body, feel your feelings, and come home to yourself.

We flow with music and move through the elements —
earth, water, fire, air, and ether —
letting the body’s natural wisdom lead instead of the mind.

There’s no choreography.
No right or wrong.
No pressure to “perform.”

It can feel like a moving meditation.
It can feel playful.
It can feel deep.
It can feel quiet.
It can feel wild.

All of it is welcome.

As we dance, we start to notice our patterns —
how we move through space,
how we meet ourselves,
how we connect,
how we pull back,
how we open.

The dance floor becomes a gentle mirror for real life…
and a safe place to explore it with curiosity and compassion.

This is both a personal practice and a community practice.
We move together.
We witness each other.
We remember we’re not alone.

We begin and end in circle, with space to share and reflect,
so what we experience in the body can land in the heart —
and become something we can carry into everyday life.

✨ Our first Full Moon Dancing Freedom Circle is this
Sunday, February 1 | 3–5 PM
and it also falls on Imbolc — the heart of winter,
a perfect time to gather with community.

Come as you are.
Move how you want.
Rest when you need.
Leave a little lighter.

All bodies. All levels. All welcome.

“be love ♾️ spread love”

Our AHA tagline was born many years ago during seasons when I was witnessing so much suffering in the world and feeling deeply helpless.

At some point, a simple truth landed in my body:
The more love I cultivate within myself, the more impact I actually have on the world around me.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately as I watch monks walking across the country for peace. Their presence is so gentle… and yet so powerful. A living prayer. A quiet devotion to love, compassion, and nonviolence. .usa

It reminds me that peace isn’t passive.
Peace is an active practice.

There are scientific studies showing that large groups of people meditating together can measurably lower crime rates in surrounding areas. Collective coherence matters. Consciousness ripples.

Which means it’s more important than ever to tend to our inner world.

To care for ourselves.
To slow down.
To breathe.
To soften.
To choose presence when we can.

Creating a peaceful reality doesn’t always feel simple in these times… but focusing on peace gives us a place to start.

And from that place, we become it.

Be love.
Spread love.
Again and again.

Rest is productive.
Especially in winter.

This season asks us to slow our pace, sleep a little longer, unplug more often, and allow ourselves to recuperate—not just physically, but emotionally and energetically too.

When we rest, our nervous system recalibrates.
Our immune system strengthens.
Our creativity begins to whisper again.

Scrolling less.
Reading more.
Moving gently.
Letting yourself be instead of constantly doing.

In a culture that rewards burnout, choosing rest is an act of wisdom—and care.

Winter isn’t meant for constant output.
It’s meant for integration, reflection, and quiet nourishment.

We’re so excited to welcome you to our first Dancing Freedom Circle — a monthly gathering devoted to movement, connection, and embodied release.

Each circle will follow a gentle ritual rhythm:
✨ Opening community circle
✨ ~75 minutes of lightly guided, open dance — moving through the elements
✨ Closing circle to integrate, reflect, and connect

This is a safe, substance-free space to:
• process what’s been living in your body
• find your flow and release stored emotion
• move meditation into the body
• feel deeply, without judgment
• connect authentically with yourself and with community

🕯 Our first circle is Sunday, February 1st | 3–5pm
This gathering falls on Imbolc, the ancient cross-quarter holiday marking the heart of winter. Imbolc is a time of quiet renewal — when the first stirrings of life begin beneath the surface, when we tend the inner flame, and when community becomes medicine against isolation.

Together, we’ll move, witness one another, and gently call warmth, clarity, and intention back into our bodies and lives.

Come exactly as you are.
No dance experience needed.
Just a willingness to listen inward and move what wants to be moved.

✨ All bodies welcome
✨ Come barefoot or bring soft indoor shoes
✨ Pre-registration encouraged
✨ $22-44 sliding scale
✨ Tickets go on sale 1/23
✨ Hosted by .wisdomschool facilitator

We can’t wait to dance with you.

There’s something quietly impactful about doing things a little differently.

Trying a new class, a new movement style, or stepping into a space you’ve never been before gently wakes up the nervous system and reminds the body and mind that we are alive, adaptable, and still growing 🌱

🧠 Mentally — novelty sparks curiosity and engagement. New experiences stimulate the brain, improve focus, and can help interrupt the repetitive thought loops that tend to deepen in the winter months. Even small changes can bring fresh energy and perspective.

💪 Physically — mixing up your movement is one of the best gifts you can give your body. Trying different classes and modalities means you’re cross-training—engaging new muscle groups, improving balance and coordination, and reducing overuse injuries. Your body becomes stronger, more resilient, and more integrated as a whole.

🤍 Emotionally —trying something new builds confidence and self-trust. Each time you show up—even imperfectly—you reinforce the belief that you can meet yourself in unfamiliar territory and be okay. That’s powerful medicine.

🫂 Socially — Being in the presence of calm, kind, like-hearted people helps our bodies settle. Laughter, shared rhythm, eye contact, and even silent togetherness signal to the nervous system: you’re not alone.

❄️ And especially in the depths of winter, when routines can feel heavy and isolation sneaks in, changing things up is an act of self-care. New classes bring new faces, shared energy, and that subtle but essential reminder: we’re not meant to do this alone.

At AHA, we believe movement, curiosity, and community are catalysts for healing. Whether it’s a class you’ve never tried, a workshop that intrigues you, or simply walking through our doors for the first time—your body, mind, and heart will thank you.

✨ Try something new. Let yourself be a beginner. You never know what part of you might wake up.
