When Chicago Fire Captain Jack Elliott got tackled and took a strong knee to his leg toward the end of an early game, he ended up with a fibular fracture and pain that made it difficult to walk for a few days. But thanks to exceptional and swift care from the Endeavor Health orthopaedic sports medicine team, Elliott missed just one game and was back playing the following week, contributing to the Fire’s best season since 2017. The Endeavor Health Sports Medicine team recently hosted a Winter Symposium, welcoming physical therapists, athletic trainers and clinicians from across Endeavor Health and our surrounding communities. Attendees heard from expert physicians and physical therapists—including one who works with an NFL team — on topics ranging from concussion care and pediatric sports injuries to foot and ankle, PRP injections and injury rehabilitation. The day offered valuable clinical insights and a great opportunity to connect and collaborate around keeping athletes healthy and moving!

Endeavor Health Skokie Hospital’s campus has expanded its weekend hours to include longer Saturday hours and the addition of ⭐ new ⭐ Sunday hours, increasing access to outpatient care for the surrounding communities.
