I’m very pleased to share that Kevin Wright, PA-C, and I are once again caring for patients together in the Naperville area.

Kevin has nearly 20 years of spine experience and has assisted in thousands of procedures. More importantly, he has walked alongside thousands of patients and families during what can be one of the most stressful periods of their lives. His calm demeanor, steady communication style, and genuine empathy consistently provide reassurance when it is needed most.

Kevin plays a central role in how we personalize care. He takes the time to understand not just a diagnosis, but the person behind it — their support system, their work demands, their goals for recovery, and how they prefer to communicate. In collaboration with Megan Shipp, athletic trainer at Glenbrook South High School, and a Glenbrook South student-athlete and former patient, Dr. Baker led a session on ACL injuries in female athletes, covering causes, surgical treatment, prevention strategies and rehabilitation.

She outlined key components of effective planning, clarified roles and responsibilities, and highlighted common athletic emergencies, including concussions, fractures and sudden cardiac arrest, to help prepare the next generation of clinicians.

Endeavor Health Skokie Hospital has expanded its weekend hours to provide greater access to walk-in Orthopaedic & Spine Immediate Care for acute injuries.❗New expanded weekend hours are now Saturday, 8 am-4 pm and Sunday, 9 am-1 pm ❗ These new hours make it easier to receive timely evaluation and treatment for sudden orthopaedic injuries such as sprains, fractures and sports-related concerns—no appointment needed.
