I want to thank the NAMI CCNS Board of Directors, staff and volunteers for supporting my work as Executive Director. April 15 is my last day in this role. As the programming and demands of NAMI CCNS have grown, it has become clear that the leader needs to be able to devote full-time to this position, and that is not possible with my responsibilites to my law firm.
We have been privileged in the last few years to see tremendous growth in the programming offered by NAMI CCNS. Since December, 2022 we offer more programs in the schools, we offer more programs for parents and family members, we offer new classes for people with mental illness, we offer new programs for minority populations and for Seniors and much more.
In addition, our financial position is more stable. Our website is totally reworked, our social media messaging more compelling and our internal organization more stable with the recent addition of Jackie Smolyar as Office Manager.
This work has been a highlight of my professional career and I am so proud of the accomplishments. Special thanks to Courtney, Jackie, Cavan, Marcy, Heather, David, David, Brianna, Molly and Anita for all of your hard work over 3+ years supporting the Mission of NAMI CCNS. After joining the board of NAMI DuPage many years ago I became devoted to the work of NAMI and that will not change.
Go to the Gala! Support this work!
Thank you all, Jeff Rabin
