COMMON MISTAKES MADE BY PATIENTS

Waiting Until The Last Minute To Get Your RX/RX refill.

We Have Limited Office Hours
- Visiting Hours are
Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays between 11am - 3pm.

Most, if not all, RX's will only be able to be authorized and sent in during office hours. Also, RX's authorizations are often not able to be sent to the pharmacy the same day it is in receipt by our office.

We Have Lots of Patient And We Care About You All 💕
- The doctor has many patients. We try our best to get RX requests done timely - They are authorized in order of receipt from pharmacy. Please ONLY call/email the office regarding any medical issues.

Doctor Availability
-- Please note: We see patients in office, via tele-med and by phone. The doctor reviews RX/refill requests when she is available. If you wait until the last minute, your RX request may not be able to be authorized before you run out.

- You May Run Out
Unfortunately, you may run out of medication before the doctor is able to authorize your medication. Also, if you have not been seen in-person by the doctor in a year, you will need an appointment and possibly lab work before your refill request will be approved by the doctor.

**When You Are Running Low - To The Pharmacist You Should Go! **
Please help us, help you refill your RX's timely.

We know that there are varying circumstances, but the sooner you can get your RX to the pharmacist, the better we are able to get it authorized or notify you of any potential issues with refilling the request. Also, please ensure that your pharmacy is sending the RX to the right location.

What are you doing for safe, family fun this season?

Here are a few things you can do with the family:

✨Pick pumpkins and carve jack-o'-lanterns

✨Explore a Farm
— Discover a hidden gem close to home! Some farms are still allowing visitors to tour their farms and pick crops.

✨Leaf picking
— Research a photo of different types of leaves in your area. Go in your backyard or to a park and try to find them all! Make a leaf pile and jump right in it. Bring some leaves home and color or craft with them;

✨Apple picking

✨Foliage drive
— Take a drive near the woods or up a mountain. The views should be spectacular in October and early November.

✨Scavenger hunt
— Come up with a list of favorite items that reflect the season. Go outside and see if family members can find them all.

COMMON MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE AT THEIR DOCTOR APPOINTMENT

(!) Withholding Sensitive Topics
Many people are uncomfortable sharing personal matters, even with their doctor. Talking about s*x, bodily functions, alcohol use, emotional problems, memory problems, and other sensitive topics can be difficult. Remember, doctors are used to hearing about these issues. And it’s likely that your doctor can help, but you have to be open with him or her. Try rehearsing what to say or telling your doctor upfront that you’re struggling with a topic.
