Our leadership recently hosted a special event celebrating the belief that inspires our work and reflects our culture: We Make People Better.

Team members received branded t-shirts and fun giveaways like bracelets, stickers, keychains, and temporary tattoos, along with a sweet treat from Stan’s Donuts. 💛

More than a celebration, this moment served as a reminder that when our people feel supported, connected, and valued, the care we provide is better for residents, families, and our teams.

Celebrating Veronica Parker’s 27-year anniversary at Citadel at Casa Scalabrini! 🎉

As our HR/Payroll Director, Veronica began her career here as a receptionist and is grateful for the journey that led her to a leadership role where she now supports both staff and residents every day.

Her advice for anyone starting in healthcare:
"Always lead with compassion. You’re working with people during some of the most important moments of their lives, so it’s essential to treat everyone with kindness, patience, and understanding."

If she had to describe her healthcare journey in one word, it would be “Rewarding.” What began as a job grew into so much more. She found stability, a sense of belonging, and a family. Today, the residents and team she works with inspire her every morning.
