Celebrating Brandon Drew's four-year anniversary at Citadel of Glenview! 🎉

As our Director of Culinary Services, Brandon brings passion and expertise to every meal. He has been in healthcare for 18 years, starting in restaurants before discovering his calling to care for others. He says, "I want to bring a new take on food while making sure every meal is high quality and crafted with care for our residents."

When asked what advice he would give to someone starting in healthcare, he says, "Be patient, be understanding, and don't let the bad times get to you."

Brandon describes his journey in one word, "Adventurous," because every day is an adventure and brings something new. Some moments are surprising, and others are challenging, but every experience is part of the journey and makes the work meaningful!

As a Dietary Technician, Rachel brings warmth and care by supporting residents’ nutritional needs and helping them make healthier choices. She says her time here has flown by — “I love it here, and everyone feels like a second family to me!”

When asked what advice she’d give to someone just starting their journey in healthcare, Rachel shared, “Be patient and understanding. We’re all here to support one another.”

As our Central Supply Clerk, Erik’s dedication to keeping our facility safe, clean, and welcoming is inspired by his grandparents. Every day, he works to create an environment our residents can feel proud to call home.

When asked what advice he’d give to someone just starting their journey in healthcare, Erik shared: "Be patient and don’t give up. Be proud of what we do!”

When asked, “What’s one word you’d use to describe your five-year journey here and why?” Erik chose “Fabulous” because he gets to learn something new every day, and just by doing that, it’s perfect.

Joseph’s life story is one of dedication, resilience, and inspiration—and we’re honored to care for someone who embodies such strength and wisdom.

At 103 years old, Joseph Leone has always had a flair for show business and spent his childhood dancing in the Aragon Ballroom, Trianon Ballroom, and other venues.
