🩸🧬The Newborn Screen (NBS) is so important to ensuring your newborn gets the best care and attention possible from day one. 🩺Screening for 38 diseases, including Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD), determined by the Recommended Uniform Screening Panel, this test can catch conditions before becoming symptomatic and save children's lives.❤️ Be sure to ask about your baby’s results at your baby’s first or second well-child visit. It is important to ask about your baby’s NBS results—do not assume that no news means that the results are in-range.

Let's protect our next generations by stopping alcohol use during pregnancy. Any amount of alcohol consumed during pregnancy could put your baby at risk. The damage it can cause is irreversible and may lead to your child having complications. If you are struggling, make an appointment with your SUD team to control your drinking and give your child a healthy start. 360-426-5755 ☎️🚫🍷🍸🍺🚫
