🩸🧬The Newborn Screen (NBS) is so important to ensuring your newborn gets the best care and attention possible from day one. 🩺Screening for 38 diseases, including Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD), determined by the Recommended Uniform Screening Panel, this test can catch conditions before becoming symptomatic and save children's lives.❤️ Be sure to ask about your baby’s results at your baby’s first or second well-child visit. It is important to ask about your baby’s NBS results—do not assume that no news means that the results are in-range.

💜What an amazing event our SUD Team got to represent the Skokomish Community at and join in on. Last Thursday and Friday the Wellness Clinic's Substance Use Disorder Team joined Mason County in honoring those who have passed from overdose and providing hope to those who are still struggling.
