Deb brought her bass today which the residents love to see and hear. Here is a picture of Pat with “The Big Boy”, as she called it. Wah also had her picture taken with the bass.

We enjoyed being entertained by Deb and Fred today. The residents loved listening to their songs and stories.

We have a Birthday Social every month to celebrate all the birthdays in that month. Today was the social for May birthdays and we celebrated with Dunkin Munchkins and coffee. I make sure every resident gets munchkin donuts whether they are able to attend the social or not.

A heartfelt thank you to Rick Caldwell from the Skowhegan Fire Department for our safety training today for all our staff. It was very informative, with great reminders and stories we will remember.
I had a chance to use the fire extinguisher to put out a small controlled fire with hands on experience practicing P. A. S. S. (Pull the pin, Aim at the base of the fire, Squeeze the handle, Sweep side to side).
