If you have met me for five minutes, you have heard me tell you that our brains are kind of jerks and lie to us! Our brains want us safe not happy, and to our brain, safe means not believing in our powerful and amazing selves. When you start feeling like everyone but you has it together -tell your brain to shut up and remind yourself that you are rocking and fantastic!

I often say my "why" is helping others live their best life. There is no feeling in the world like helping someone else be their best self and change their world.

My dad used to say this all the time and it annoyed me so much because people can be mean and judgemental and I am often my harshest critic. Here is the thing, though, we tell our own story. You do not need anyone's approval to be you. You are not less than and when people put you down or judge, they are saying a lot more about themselves than they are about you. You are worthy.

I just love this. Not because we shouldn't rely on others sometimes because we were made to lean on each other but because we are valuable and important just because we exist! Live your life. Recognize that you can have joy and strength no matter what roads you've been down. Be your own hero!

There are so many things you don't have control of - let those things go. You do have control of what you decide to do with this day. I know there is magic you can create!
