We’ll sip sacred cacao, share what lifts our hearts in gratitude, move gently with the breath 🌬️ and release grief, pain and ancestral weight through the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine 🕊️

🍂 November at Christina’s Therapeutic Touch 🌙
This month is all about connection, travel, and transformation. From our home studio in Slidell to the sacred shores of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, November invites us to gather, breathe, and align with gratitude.
✨11/5: Women’s Circle with Christina Geiger (6 to 8 p.m.)
We begin the month by coming together in sisterhood. This evening will hold space for intention setting, reflection, and gratitude.
🌿 11/7: One on One Energy Healing with karlie Lacoste
Karlie will be offering private sessions in the studio for those seeking to balance and restore their energy.
🌎 November 9 to 16: Spirit of Atitlán Retreat, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

Our journey to Guatemala begins.

11/9: Arriving at our lakeside home and share our first group dinner at ”Peace Of Heaven”.

11/10: Opening morning Qigong session and a heart centered Share Circle. The evening will close with a relaxing Sound Bath to settle into the energy of the lake.
11/11: We will explore the village of San Juan by boat, learning from local artisans and discovering the beauty of Guatemalan textiles and art. The evening will feature a Drum Circle at Eden, inviting rhythm and joy into our experience.
11/12: A morning meditation walk along the lake and an evening with a Cacao and Fire Ceremony complete with a traditional Nawal reading.
11/13: Personal time for rest and reflection before a powerful Breathwork Activation with Tesha in the afternoon.
11/14: We hike to the waterfalls of Tzununá, followed by a hands on Guatemalan cooking class with Chef Juan Carlos as we learn to make Pepian, a traditional and sacred dish.
11/15: Christina will lead our final Qigong class in the morning before our Closing Celebration a boutique hotel that overlooks the lake.
11/16, we share a farewell breakfast as we prepare to return home with full hearts, renewed spirits, and lifelong memories.

✨FACILITATOR SPOTLIGHT✨
We are deeply honored to welcome Izaias & Izabel, heart-centered healers from San Marcos La Laguna, as our local guides for cacao + fire ceremonies and Mayan Nahual readings at the upcoming Spirit of Atitlán retreat.
Rooted in their ancestral Tz’utujil traditions, Izaias and Izabel walk the sacred path as Fire Shamans, honoring a lineage of medicine, dreams, and devotion. Their shared journey interwoven through love, ceremony, and family has led them to become powerful space holders and cultural wisdom keepers.
Izaias was called to the spiritual path through dreams as a teen, later discovering his grandfather was a Shaman. After years of seeking, he was initiated into the Fire path upon marrying Izabel, his life partner and fellow healer.
Izabel’s journey began through personal healing with cacao and blossomed into a deep calling to support others, especially women, through traditional abdominal massage, herbal wisdom, and Temazcal baths.
Together, they co-create healing spaces grounded in the energy of cacao, the fire, and the ancient Mayan calendar. Their ceremonies are a living offering of ancestral memory and deep love.
We are beyond grateful to have them share their gifts, spirit, and culture with our retreat community.
🔥 You can also visit their sacred shop while in town for handmade medicine and ceremony tools crafted with intention.
Let’s give thanks for the blessing of their presence and the path they walk with so much heart. 🌿✨

Good morning, beautiful souls! 🌞
I want to take a moment to deeply thank each and every woman who showed up for herself and for each other at last night’s Women’s Circle and cacao ceremony. 💖 Every time we gather, there’s something truly magical that happens, we create a sacred space to share our stories, our wisdom, and our hearts. Each meeting is a powerful moment of healing, connection, and growth. 🌿✨
Last night, we journeyed into the rich wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine, exploring the season of autumn and the vital connection between our lungs and large intestines. 🍂 We learned how these organs are linked to the emotion of grief, and how we can lovingly support our bodies, minds, and spirits during those times of deep emotional release. Through sharing actionable ways to process grief, nourishing foods, and heartfelt conversation, we nurtured ourselves in mind, body, and soul. 🥢🍁💫
A special thank you goes to our wonderful guest, Karlie Lacoste(.ishhhh), for her beautiful guided meditation and for sharing her incredible gifts with us. Your presence added such depth and peace to our circle. 🙏💜

🌿 Retreat Update 🌿
We want to share a heartfelt update with our community. Amidst recent insights during a facilitator meeting, we have come to a mutual acceptance that yoga /photography instructor Erin McKinney will no longer be joining us to facilitate the upcoming Spirit of Atitlán retreat. I truly believe all things happen as they should.
Erin has been called to support a dear friend through a challenging medical journey, and while we will deeply miss her presence, we fully honor and support her decision to show up with love and care where she’s most needed.
The retreat is still moving forward as planned, though we’ll be making a few thoughtful adjustments to the structure of our activities and the number of participants we’ll be welcoming.
We’re grateful for your understanding, and remain inspired by the spirit of connection, transformation, and presence that brought this retreat to life. More details will be shared soon for those joining us in Lake Atitlán. 💛
