✨ This patient had suffered for many years from a severely arthritic bunion, second hammertoe with ball of the foot pain. They underwent a great toe joint fusion for the arthritic bunion using the Treace Lapiplasty® System 2 Biplanar plating system, as well as a shortening osteotomy of the second metatarsal, hammertoe repair second toe utilizing Arthrex® DynaNite® PIP toe implants with temporary k-wire for stabilization of the MTP.

The patient was weight bearing immediately post op in a walking boot and back into regular shoes at 8 weeks!

Every case and patient is different and post-op protocols/outcomes may vary based on individual circumstances.
